We've all wanted to tell a jogger to put his shirt back on, but what happened recently in suburban Boston is a little different.
Westwood High track coach Tom Davis was fired last week because one of his runners decided to take his shirt off during training on a 75-degree day. This wasn't a girl, by the way. It was a boy.

That wasn't the end of it. Davis was let go on the spot, in front of his team, and eventually escorted off school property.
"The kids on my team, it was terrible," Davis told the TV station. "Their faces, just pure disgust, pure fear."

But there was an undercurrent of tension at the school as Fogel told Davis that some members of the girls team felt uncomfortable when the boys ran without shirts. Davis even warned his team about possible punishment for not wearing a shirt.

The girls were uncomfortable seeing the boys without shirts? Where have these girls been? Certainly not at the beach. Are these the same girls who have to sit through explicit sex-ed classes with the same boys?

This is what bothered me the most - and actually quite surprising given that the trend has been for HS girls to wear skimpier and skimpier clothes.

Reportedly, athletic director Karl Fogel went over to the shirtless student. Is the rumor true that Karl Fogel likes boys and was turned down by the student? I don't know that there's any evidence that Karl Fogel likes boys, but I can easily believe that he's an arrogant jerk who is supported by the superintendent for bringing in lots of money in this rich area.

It is possible that the suits they wear are full body suits to cut down on resistance.

That's what I thought too. The speedos we wore in the 70's and 80's left nothing to the imagination! (It would be a felony if I were to wear one now!)

More likely “uncomfortable” meant “excited” verus “embarassed.”

These are probably the same girls who “hook-up” with anyone who gives them a nod.
I kept saying "your gonna get me in trouble". They laughed. Yep, I am now banned from that school district.
Political correctness is out of wack.
How about the boys now feeling uncomfortable about those skimpy shorts on the girls. See what happens from that. If not surely there's an attorney willing to tale the case.
No..I’m guessing they are just infected with the “it’s not fair...if we can’t take ours off, then they shouldn’t” attitude.
We are being eaten alive by the two headed monster of socialism and political correctness.
This doesn't even seem real. Shirts and skins were SOP for boys playing basketball during PE, and even for tag football outdoors in good weather. And this was back in the dark ages before the sexual revolution.
Wonder what these girls do during the condom/cucumber demonstrations in sex ed class?
