Following the news of killing Osama Bin Laden, the approval rating of President Obama increased eleven points in the New York Times Poll. It went from 46% in mid-April to 57% post OBL.
I am sure that the Leftists hosts on MSNBC who say that people in the South and Republicans in general hate President Obama because of race, missed this one: Obama’s strongest bounce is from Republicans and from Southerners!
Support for Obama between Dems is up seven points to 86%; Support between Independents is up eleven points to 52%; but support between Republicans jumped fifteen points: From nine to 24 percent!
Based on the four regions, Obama is up weakest in the West (five points to 54%); followed by the Mid-West and North-East (both areas up eight points); but is up EIGHTEEN points in the South.
These results show that those “Racists Republicans” are more than willing to tip their hats for Obama when he does something good for a change.
Sorry, but I’m unemployed and can’t afford the gas to attend my local “Bin Ladin is dead again” celebration rally.
Most normal Americans see this as a victory for the U.S.A.

From what I’ve read he had to be dragged off the golf course to be present for the POST event celebration. The mysterious absentee one now presents himself as a kick-ass decision maker.

Unchanged from Saturday. Somewhat approve number went from 48% pre binny kill to 51% after... all within the margin of error.

I find it difficult to believe that any southerner or Republican would change their opinion of Obama based on the action against Osama...that was a MILITARY operation; Obama is just taking credit.
All of the sudden now, the NYT polls are to be taken as accurate?

I’m a Southerner and I’m glad Osama is dead, but I don’t believe ANY of the credit goes to 0bama - only to the SEALS, CIA and the Bush Administration. How does that show in the NY Slimes poll?
What a crock.... I don’t believe that poll for one second. This is one Southern family and that includes all but one relative(who we no longer speak to because they voted for the Marxist in chief)that he didn’t get a bounce from. I know what he is and who he is, there is NOTHING he could do to change my mind. How about a poll that simply states: Are you going to vote for Bambi in 2012. Yes/No as the only two options.
Obama increased eleven points only because he promised to give everybody a gas can and a hose.

He acted like a real American president. It might get him some appreciation, but we aren’t voting for him. Plus, if he keeps that up, he’ll lose his moonbat base.
Obama did NOT do anything good. Giving a conman credit for anything is like you personally kicking each and every one of his future marks.
