The type of man who rapes is also the type of man that likely sees provocative clothing as a taunt. And why exactly do women where provocative clothing, if not to tantalize? Women who do not wish to be sexualized by men should start by not sexualizing themselves, i.e. don't where a blouse open to your navel and then complain that men are staring at your boobs.

The statement that was made, is the same argument as that concerning flashing wads of money around in a bad part of town. The fool who walks into a gang hangout with $100 bills sticking out of his pockets doesn't deserve to get robbed, but he was none the less a fool who made robbery far more likely.

Its common sense, yet like all other Leftists, these women feel a need to rebel against reality.

I suppose that if the cop had stated that women shouldn't pass out nude at parties, that these women would be naked and unconscious for their protest.

Excellent response. Exactly what I think. Modesty is not a prudish function, it is protection. Just like not getting drunk at a frat party or not walking down an ally by yourself at 2 in the morning. Nothing guarantees you will never get raped (packing a 45 at all times gets pretty close) but it all adds up to increasing or decreasing your level of safety. Dressing Like a slut attracts guys who think a slut is "really asking for it" and that her "no" means "yes". That's what all the porno movies tell them. That's what your slutty manner is telling them.
