This new offensive is, of course, based on the premise that the 9/11 terrorist is alive. After all, there are the plethora of 'Bin Laden tapes' to prove it.

Yet what if he isn't? What if he has been dead for years, and the British and U.S. intelligence services are actually playing a game of double bluff?

What if everything we have seen or heard of him on video and audio tapes since the early days after 9/11 is a fake - and that he is being kept 'alive' by the Western allies to stir up support for the war on terror?

Incredibly, this is the breathtaking theory that is gaining credence among political commentators, respected academics and even terror experts.

Of course, there have been any number of conspiracy theories concerning 9/11, and it could be this is just another one.

But the weight of opinion now swinging behind the possibility that Bin Laden is dead - and the accumulating evidence that supports it - makes the notion, at the very least, worthy of examination.

The theory first received an airing in the American Spectator magazine earlier this year when former U.S. foreign intelligence officer and senior editor Angelo M. Codevilla, a professor of international relations at Boston University, stated bluntly: 'All the evidence suggests Elvis Presley is more alive today than Osama Bin Laden.'

You'll never see pix of the May 1 version until they have been substantially doctored (like BHO's BC).

No, I think the pictures released last week served a different purpose for a different audience. Somebody in Pakistan recognizes the bodies of the guys who were off'd. We just don't know the significance of it yet.

Pakistan now plays the mea culpa game, slapped silly with international embarrassment, but they still have to play along with the story line if they hope to have the $3B/year gravy train coming in.

What if the guys who were off'd were actually the real guys behind the Mumbai bombing, and India wanted globally broadcast evidence to those involved that they too will be squashed in time? Just a theory. A message was sent to someone -- that is an undeniable fact.

We are hearing about a wife of Bin Laden's who is shot in the leg. Where is she? Does any one of those bobble-heads at ABC/CBS/NBC/CNN/Fox speak Pashtun well enough to interview this name-less face-less person -- or will we just listen to the News-Speak and take it all in uncritically?

Some strangeness:

The dead guy from the visit in Pakistan last week was reported by one of his wives who is in Paki custody, to be "hale and hardy, no physical problems."

The ObL guy we were tracking in Afghanistan needed dialysis, could barely walk, was deaf, absurdly nearsighted and astigmatic. We knew all of this when he was a mujadehhin leader against the Russkis in A-Stan when it was their problem. We were sorta pals with him then, and his insanely wealthy family company was and probably still is a US Contractor in Saudi Arabia.

Given the extreme density of the bin Ladn gene pool, it is entirely possible that the Osama I died a good while ago, and Osama II, a relative perhaps, was in his place. My ethanol-powered eye (the good one) seems to detect certain slight differences between recent and old photos.

BTW, the DNA check on his sister's brain samples left in Boston, is a really dumb idea, as ObL was one of 75 children by a raft of related mothers who were related to his father. By now there are at least 5000 people who could have "similar" DNA. There should be fingerprints on file in KSA (rotsa ruck!) and we should have taken prints off the corpus delicti before the touching funeral at sea thing. Although I would have pickled the Muslim and put him on display at county fairs in the hog pavilion.

I know Pearl will back me on this, as we have been searching for a new conspiracy ever since the release of the fake BC.

I dont think it was a myth. Alot of his kidney problem reports were before 9/11 and not something manufactured afterwards. This was widely reported in Europe, that he was indeed in dubai in early july 2001 because he was having complaints with his kidney. In Dubai he met with a couple of members of arab royalty and also met with the CIA station chief, who the journalist reports were trying to bring bin laden back to the US fold. Unknowingly to them it would only be 2 months until 9/11.

The Z-man could have been mourning just about anything, or just pretending to be mourning something with the expectation that doing so better cemented his position of leadership. Who knows.

This article has prompted me to research a little.

I found one of the post 9/11 interviews with OBL, where he claims he had no knowledge or a hand in planning 9/11 and goes on to speak much like he did in his 1997 interview.

A snippet:

“I have already said that I am not involved in the 11 September attacks in the United States. As a Muslim, I try my best to avoid telling a lie. I had no knowledge of these attacks, nor do I consider the killing of innocent women, children and other humans as an appreciable act. Islam strictly forbids causing harm to innocent women, children and other people. Such a practice is forbidden even in the course of a battle. It is the United States, which is perpetrating every maltreatment on women, children and common people of other faiths, particularly the followers of Islam. All that is going on in Palestine for the last 11 months is sufficient to call the wrath of God upon the United States and Israel.”

He goes on to say:

“Then there are intelligence agencies in the U.S., which require billions of dollars worth of funds from the Congress and the government every year. This [funding issue] was not a big problem till the existence of the former Soviet Union but after that the budget of these agencies has been in danger. They needed an enemy. So, they first started propaganda against Usama and Taleban and then this incident happened. You see, the Bush Administration approved a budget of 40 billion dollars. Where will this huge amount go? It will be provided to the same agencies, which need huge funds and want to exert their importance. Now they will spend the money for their expansion and for increasing their importance. I will give you an example. Drug smugglers from all over the world are in contact with the U.S. secret agencies. These agencies do not want to eradicate narcotics cultivation and trafficking because their importance will be diminished. The people in the U.S. Drug Enforcement Department are encouraging drug trade so that they could show performance and get millions of dollars worth of budget. General Noriega was made a drug baron by the CIA and, in need, he was made a scapegoat. In the same way, whether it is President Bush or any other U.S. President, they cannot bring Israel to justice for its human rights abuses or to hold it accountable for such crimes. What is this? Is it not that there exists a government within the government in the United Sates? That secret government must be asked as to who carried out the attacks.”

Anyone have any idea if this interview performed by UMMAT KARACHI newspaper is authentic? It appears to be and have checked around the internet. To be quite honest, i dont know what to think, an interesting read nonetheless.
