The old saying goes, “When you are getting run out of town, try to get out front and make it look like a parade.” Obama has promoted his “clean energy jobs of the future” lie continuously hoping that we will begin to believe it. What the dummy is trying to hide is the fact that we need jobs now. Something that he has failed to stimulate even after tripling our deficit.
Drilling, coal mining, gas and oil pipelines, new and additional refining capacity, enhanced crude oil recovery from existing wells, restoration of deep water exploration, and other related domestic fossil fuel endeavors financed by private capital will provide jobs now—not in the future.
His is not an energy concern. His is an ideological pursuit. He achieved his goal of $4/gallon gasoline much sooner than even he expected. It will lead to his political demise.
Obama’s vision for the U. S. is called socialism which is just one step away from communism.
We can see clearly. He thinks we can’t. We showed him in November, 2010 and we will show him again in November, 2012.

A successful economy based on green jobs is clearly a myth. See Spain's absolute failure with commanding a green jobs economy.
The kindest interpretation of Obama and his continued promotion of green jobs is based on the inescapable conclusion that he is ever clueless, completely oblivious to reality.
Additionally, a second and more sinister motive for his continued pushing of green jobs appears increasingly more likely.

Ethanol, wind, solar and electric cars, etc. will never be viable economic or practical alternatives to replace good old fossil fuel technology. You can’t wish it so or base economic policy on it either. At some point you have to recognize this reality or destroy forward progress.

Especially at a time when were scouring every part of the budget to try to figure out how we bring down our deficit and our debt. Scour? How about passing a 2006 Pre-Pelosi/Reid budget...and then start cutting from there?

"Clean Energy" is as much of a fraud as "Global Warming"...it's a stall so obama won't have to do anything about oil prices and can tax us into oblivion over "enviromental concerns".
Oil is power, and he wants the power while we ride around in flimsy electric cars.
Obama is a flim-flam con artist of the nth degree.

I, for one, am honestly nostalgic for the exquisite bouquet of public transit diesel exhaust in the downtowns of my youth.
Honestly. No sarcasm. Whenever I still catch a whiff of it in the morning, it smells like . . . prosperity.

It is impossible for clean energy to deliver what is needed. Especially if all the suckers out there start wasting their time and money on electric cars.
What do you think? With an electric car do you think I'll make the 6-hour trip to grandma's in Montreal, in -20C weather, snowing, up/down hills, with the wife/kids/dog, lights and windshield wiper on, radio on, ski rack on the roof, lap top plugged in and a head-wind? No chance friends, no chance. And I REFUSE to spend $50k to find out.
Furthermore, I predict a huge backlash wrt ethanol and the fact that we are BURNING FOOD in our gas tanks. IF THAT MEANS ANYTHING AT ALL TO YOU.

Ask anyone in the "Clean Energy" industry: it is well-known for being a low man-power industry.
Far fewer people required to construct and operate clean energy power sources than oil/gas/coal.
Far, far needed to "explore" for clean energy (everyone knows where it's windy/sunny).
ZERO jobs generated to drill/mine/store/refine/transport clean energy.
