INDIANAPOLIS – Refocusing on the nation's economic struggles, President Barack Obama welcomed news Friday that the economy unexpectedly added more than 200,000 jobs last month. "We are regaining our footing," he said.
The president spoke during a visit to a transmission plant in Indianapolis, even as the killing of Osama bin Laden continued to dominate headlines and much of the president's time.
From Indianapolis he was to travel to Fort Campbell, Ky., to thank the Navy SEALs who stormed bin Laden's compound in Pakistan and shot him dead, and the helicopter operators who got them there.
But first, at Allison Transmission in Indianapolis, the president promoted his clean energy agenda while offering an optimistic assessment of the economy's growth. April's labor market report marked the third straight month in which more than 200,000 jobs were created, the best three-month hiring spree in five years and a sign of increasing confidence in the private sector.
"We've made this progress at a time when our economy's been facing some serious headwinds," the president told workers, citing high gas prices and the earthquake in Japan. "There will undoubtedly be some more challenges ahead, but the fact is that we are still making progress," he said. "And that proves how resilient the American economy is, and how resilient the American worker is, and that we can take a hit and we can keep on going forward."

The President announces a plan to ‘cut the deficit’ by trillions, and it is analyzed and scored and it turns out it will expand the deficits by $2.2 trillion over the next 10 years.

I was just about to say the exact same thing. (except I was going to say I could take a punch in the nose & keep going, but I’d rather not take a punch in the nose; or repeated punches. And, inevitably, I punch back when I get the chance.)
Reagan was the “Teflon president”; Obama is the “Timex” president, both adored by uninformed Americans.
Of the six billion on earth, surely at least five billion and probably more are enthusiastic Obama backers.
The Economy is not a Timex Watch.....
The EPA is a model of efficiency, causing a thousand dollars in damage to America for every dime of funding it receives.
The economy may be able to take a hit but that doesn’t mean that Owebie has to use it as a punching bag.
First I shut off millions of jobs, then I spend trillions of dollars we do not have, on health care, no one wanted, then I give billions to Brazil and Columbia, then I cut the defense monies, then I close down drilling for oil, shut down the coal mining, spend billions on green energy that does not work as efficiently as our existing energies, then I praise the Muslims, and push for anything they want, then I set aside trillions of the TARP and other monies meant to grow the workplace; and hold it to achieve my plans for one world socialism, government, all the while the economy flounders, I encourage the homosexuals, messing with the marriage definition, expect people to tighten their belts and pay more taxes, weaken the school instructions, etc. ...
THEN
I will begin to use some of the" set aside monies' to restore a a few jobs, and then pointedly be sure the whole nation knows we have CREATED some new jobs.
First, I take away and then I give back and they will be bowing before me in gratitude and thanksgiving. THEN I will be ruler of the totalitarian America and soon the whole planet.
How's that for a plan?

Look at Project GUNRUNNER. IT's pretty obvious a lowly Ass't Attorney General or even Att. Gen. Holder himself was not running an operation to dump US Guns into Mexico. That power came out of the White House.
Project Gunrunner is much bigger than Nixon's Watergate. Right now we are in the phase where the Pawns (Holder) are lying to Congress. Obama has to stop the inquiry and that's where we get him.
Obama has already crossed the line when he ordered GUNRUNNER so he could get American gun Manufacturers and distributors. With luck he can get you too.
Learn what you need to and let's give Congress our rath. They won't do anything to Hussein unless we make them. They say Hussein won't be impeached for anything but this can bring him down because everything in motion will stop if GUNRUNNER goes to the headlines everyday like Watergate did.
