GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. -- Even after the White House offered up President Obama's birth certificate, there are still those who are questioning it's legitimacy.
One Grand Junction man who works as a graphic artist says he has discovered something strange about the certificate. "There's no doubt that it has been edited and quite significantly," James Colby said.
He's been involved in graphic arts since 2004 and has never had a reason to doubt our president's birthplace. In fact, he says he is politically independent. Yet, Colby says he can't ignore the obvious.
After downloading the birth certificate straight off of the White House's website, he started noticing the apparent flaws in a computer program called Adobe Illustrator.
"Legitimate digitized, scanned documents will always have [a] faded appearance... There are too many jagged features, here." he said as the scoured the certificate. "So, it's not a single document, it's actually 'compositive' layers."
Colby says scanned images should only have one digitized layer. He says President Obama's birth certificate has almost 50 layers. "You can see the layers flash yourself just by rapidly zooming in and out in your web browser. That means that the browser is rendering different layers."
Colby concedes that there are some instances where scanned images produce multiple layers. "It's a program called OCR that converts text in the images into computer readable text," he said. "But, it would never work on signatures. So, the fact that the signatures have been edited discounts the possibility of it being OCR."
Colby continued pointing out the apparent problems. "You'll notice the white background behind these letters, which is also super-imposed, actually covers up a little bit of the 'D' in this word," he explained. "Even his name has been edited, all except for the 'R' in 'Barack.'"
But, Colby can not figure out why the White House would release something so obvious. "The question is why is it so obvious," he said. "Maybe the original certificate was damaged, maybe it was faded, maybe someone was just trying to clean it up. [But,] you'd think if that was the case, they would supply the original certificate just so there would be no suspicions."
Colby says as strange as the edits are, they don't prove a thing. But, he believes that they do point in one direction. "It's definitely been edited in its entirety, so the indication would point to the probability of it being fake," he said. "But, nobody can really make that claim."
Colby isn't alone in believing the birth certificate has been altered. Other graphic artists and various conservative groups from across the country are saying the same thing.
BTW, the Democrats in Hawaii, who run everything in the state, don't have to be bribed to sound as stupid as they do.

There is no doubt that Hawaii has the most corrupt public servants just a little bit of money can buy.

We could get into her technical description of printing, writing, typed and rubberstamped ~ but I don't think we need to do that to ascertain that whatever she saw she had no idea where it came from.
She's probably like some of our own Freepers who imagine that an original "form" signed by various people is just an input document for a typist to use as a guide to completing a "real form".
Right ~ sure ~ never once imagining that the signatures aren't typed, printed, or except for her own, rubber stamped!
Having satisfied my curiosity about this person quite some time ago there's nothing gained by further belittling her ~ other than this, she might have once seen those documents 20 years ago in bound volumes in file cabinets ~ but not recently. That's why NO ONE in the DOH is telling anyone anything about the changes in the system over time ~ the slightest discussion would, of course, make Fukimo sound like she's telling lies ~ which she does anyway.
Remember, the state just approved a grant for what most of us would consider "archaeological work" ~ they are going to search through all the various record keeping systems the state owns and figure out how they might "standardize" things AND digitize all of the archival documents, or other documents required by law to be maintained for a period of time ~ and also, to find all the statutes directing the maintenance of records.
The fact that grant was authorized rather disproves the idea that Fukimo, or any other official out there knows enough about their records systems to speak authoritatively about anything.

JUST approved? You earlier made a very different comment;

If they have been SO ADVANCED all along, as you implied, why the special grant to standardize and digitize? OHHHH, I see - you were making a blanket statement about “advanced data storage and retrieval” in general, but in a misleading way - as though the HI DOH has always had such advanced equipment. Hawaii has very old and outdated equipment in general, which I provided a glimpse of with that little video.

So, the grant “disproves” that any official, whose very job it is to know these things, actually does know them?

See, I had questions about the DOH, so I sent people there to get answers for me. I have accounts of those visits and a video. I ain’t just sitting around making statements without substance, nor trying to spin non-information.

If you accept an electronic document from someone who has hidden all his records, using allegedly a fraudulently obtained SSN which was used to register with the Selective Service as well as to file recent tax returns, then YOU are the problem.
Where are the two hard copies that Fuddy mentioned in her letter to The Pretender? Why aren’t they being presented for forensic review instead of a layered scan (Obama slight of hand)? But you already know the answer to that question...it is an ABSTRACT of information taken from different sources and not a copy of the original.

If you checked my posts here it would be VERY CLEAR to you that I do not accept it except insofar as it can be shown that the electronic copy is clearly fraudulent.
The lack of a raised seal is not one of the things that makes it clearly fraudulent unless you can show similar documents that Hawaii has issued in the past year or two that do have a raised seal.
Ditto for the bogus issue of typewriter kerning. Of course I think everyone who wants a Bamie BC should be able to get his or her own certified copy directly from Hawaii. But that's not what we have to work with now.
Anyone who understands files of the type issued by the White House can clearly see that Bamie BC II is a bogus composite.

Where are your videos? Where is your material? Where are your scans and pictures? Where do you post your research results? What do you have pending? What are your most recent concrete findings?

I don't get where you express astonishment that someone might have referred to the area where Mombasa is in 1961 as Kenya, when you acknowledge that it was known as Kenya since 1920. It's almost as nuts as Obama telling us he's not trying to kill Qaddafi.

Can’t answer why the 50 layers but my theory is that whatever it was that he so despritely needed to hide couldn’t be hidden so easily. They had to go back in and mess with each and everything on the document to make it more difficult to determine the numbero uno change.
Also, everyone is focusing on the forgery rather than the significance of what’s on it. There’s blogs and videos and everyone getting all up in arms about layers and scans and programs and blah, blah, blah but it’s nothing but another diversion. Smoke and mirrors. Bottom line is the Kenyan baby daddy and the usurper can’t get around the NBC definition of TWO US CITIZEN PARENTS he agreed with so much that he signed his name to in SR 511. He can’t wiggle outta that one so he uses roadblocks and smoke.
