You won't believe what Sears is selling now "Hot & Exotic" is just one small sample of Sears' explicit DVD offerings
May 6, 2011
Dear Freeper,
Under the new leadership of Chairman Edward Lampert, Sears is now offering hard-core pornographic DVDs and music. Not just a few x-rated products, but scores of them!
AFA ordered one of the DVDs to see if it really came from Sears. It did! It was mailed to us in a Sears envelope, with a Sears shipping label, from a Sears distribution center.
Not only does Sears' website allow children to view its pornographic offerings online, it will sell them to children. During our online check-out process, we were never asked to verify our age.
I hope you will take my word for it, but if you must see the proof, AFA has set up a Sears Project page with more information, and how AFA navigated Sears' website quickly and easily to access hundreds of explicit products. Warning: the material is extremely graphic and offensive, although it has been edited by us.
Technology allows Sears to remove and stop selling these products within minutes, if they want too. AFA has tried more than a half-dozen times to reach out to Sears quietly and professionally. Basically, their single response was, "We're going to keep on selling them!"

Take Action
Unless Sears hears from you, they will continue to sell hardcore pornography. If you can only do one thing, please:
Please call your local store manager and politely ask him to pass your concern along to his district manager. You can find your local store phone number here, or in your local yellow pages.
Additional steps you can take to make your voice heard:
1. Send an email in your own words using Sears' website feedback form.
2. Make a call to the Sears' Public Relations Department at 847-286-8371, option 1.
3. Make a personal phone call to Sears, so your concerns are clearly understood. Call Sears' corporate headquarters directly and ask to leave a message with Chairman Edward Lampert's office. The number is 847-286-2500.
It is very important that you forward this alert to your friends and family members.
Sincerely,
Tim Wildmon, President American Family Association
This is beyond disgusting.
In my reply below I will add a link to make it esay to contact any Sears store for a "shout out" on how you feel about this.
BOYCOTT ANY AND ALL PRODUCTS FROM SEARS TILL THEY STOP THIS.
This thread is useless without pictures
What next
“We’re sorry but that title cannot be found.”
Do I get a moneyback guarantee from CRAFTSMAN?.........
They verify age through the credit card. Asking on a web site a person’s age is stupid and useless as anyone can simply answer they are 18.
As promised some additional links to make it easier for you to show your disgust.
Sears store locator by zip code. Just enter in your zip code and Sears stores closet to you will be listed. They will include directions, phone numbers, store hours, names and websites

Make a personal phone call to Sears at 847-286-2500. Ask to leave a message for Chairman Edward Lampert.
Send an e-mail to Sears:

Consider posting it to your Facebook page too!
You still think I’m kidding?
Okay ...
Direct URLs to some of the products Sears now sells:

I did a search and I can’t find it. It wouldn’t be the first time AFA has been wrong. They seem to fall for email scams occasionally, usually around Christmas.
None of those product links work.
The links WERE working earlier.
This is the first moment I had to post this.
The LINKS WERE THERE EARLIER TODAY.
Perhaps Sears is getting the message?

People lie all the time.
When buying on the internet, there is little more they can do to verify age. What do you believe would improve age verification over the internet?
Here’s something else to be incensed about:
Coming soon to the iPad app store: Playboy

Just great!
This will really help kids resist porn and have resepct for females. Can you imagine what the kids will do with THIS?
If so check the batteries before returning to a Sears store near you.
The horror!
(I’ll have to go investigate).
Probably session based. You’ll most likely have to provide the link to search page showing the videos, and not the video’s themselves.
And no, sears is not getting the message.
Possession of a credit card has been legally established as proof of being over the age of 18. Age was verified during the checkout process even if it wasn’t explicitly stated.
