The Candidates...
Gary Johnson
Johnson served as governor of New Mexico from 1995 to 2002. He founded what would become one of the largest construction companies in New Mexico. He has competed in several triathlons and climbed Mount Everest.
Herman Cain
Cain is the former chief executive of Godfather's Pizza and former chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. He lost the Georgia Republican primary for a U.S. Senate seat in 2004. He was recently the host of Atlanta-based radio show.
Rick Santorum
Santorum served two terms in the U.S. House and two terms in the U.S. Senate. He became the Senate's third-ranking Republican in 2001. He was defeated for reelection in 2006.
Ron Paul
Paul is serving his 11th full term in the U.S. House. Hes an obstetrician-gynecologist and was the Libertarian nominee for president in 1988. He unsuccessfully sought the Republican nomination for president in 2008
Tim Pawlenty
Pawlenty served two terms as governor of Minnesota, from 2002 to 2010. He served in the Minnesota House from 1992 until 2002. He is the son of a truck driver.
Mitt seems really plastic and boring compared to these guys.
Erick Erickson of RedState tweeted that Pawlenty looks “extremely presidential”.

Re: my post 201 Cain not only hit his Crissy GOTCHA question out of the park but it actually broke little Crissy’s teeth..in his face. Cain sealed the deal. He won this debate IMO
If you saw a picture "they" said was the dead UBL how would you know?
Seriously? Impressed with ALL of them?? R-U-N Paul sounds angry and out of joint!! I would never consider voting for that individual (and, he has a snowball chance in Hell of getting the nomination).
Democrats will savage him. Independent women will be afraid of him. They used that very thing to run him out of the Senate. It’s some “baggage” he has and calls into question his claims of electability.
I think Cain’s wrong about saying that gas prices will go up. Hazardous forecasting the price of anything.
Prices may go down because of a looming double-dip recession.
Absolutely! The rest sounded like politicians. Cain sounded natural and speaks with confidence and conviction. You can tell he was a CEO of a large company.
Good answer about Romney! LOL!
I’ve got to hand it to RP, he about made me spit up my beer.
I liked Santorum, Cain, and Pawlenty.
I am, and I think Mr. Cain is knocking it out of the park.
I’m watching on Facebook and here...
Mary Kathrine Ham tweeted that Santorm would be well advised to town it down a notch when being challenged. He did sound angry/defensive several times tonight.
I like Herman because he’s passionate patriot. After his incredible battle with cancer, most men would be happy to retire into the sunset, enjoying each day of their lives. He’s a true statesman who cares about the country and wishes to return it to greatness.
Ron Paul is the only one of that 5 who is going to have an impact. It’s good for Ron Paul to have Gary Johnson. Johnson agrees with Ron Paul on many things, but differs in others, and where they differ, typically Johnson is taking the Libertarian position.
Johnson gets the Trump question. He’s too bland and seems a bit metrosexual.
global warming will be a problem for Pawlenty, but I like the fact he comes out and says (in not so many words) I f’d up, I admit it. Mitt Romney doesn’t. Question is will people believe he’s changed his mind. Not sure. But plenty here believe in Trump’s conversion to pro-live so...
Stuuuuuuuuuupid question to Gary Johnson. Juxtaposing with Trump, What kind of show would you be?
He is really out of place, but God bless him for trying.
Ron Paul looks weird up there. Like his suit doesn’t fit him.
He should have just said, “West Wing”
