Sen. John McCain denounced advanced interrogation methods like waterboarding Wednesday amid a growing debate over its effectiveness reopened by the killing of Osama bin Laden.
McCain told reporters leaving an intelligence briefing for senators by CIA director Leon Panetta that he has seen no information so far to indicate that techniques like waterboarding factored significantly in the information gathering that led to bin Ladens death.
So far I know of no information that was obtained, that would have been useful, by advanced interrogation. In fact, according to published reports
some of the key people who knew about this courrier denied it, McCain said, careful to note that he was not relaying information from Panettas classified session with Senate Intelligence and Armed Services Committee members.
Where there is published information in the various newspapers and media that the information about this courrier was intercepted conversation between two individuals thats as far as I know, the top Republicans on the Armed Services Committee added. I stand on the side of the United States and by the Geneva conventions, of which we are signatories, which we were in violation of by waterboarding.

I am glad the RINO didn't get elected.
At least ZERO is not a Republican. Neither is McLaim, but he claims to be and non Republicans put him in the Republican camp.
We just need to clean house. . . . . .

Actually McCain is right here. McCain got to Osama first and kept talking to him until Osama, in total anguish and desperation turned the gun on himself....LOL! It's even worse. Bin Laden got double-teamed: John and daughter Megan.

Too bad Arizona voted once again to be represented in the Senate by this doddering old idiot. He’s beating the war drums for our further involvement in Libya, and now he’s on Obama’s team against interrogating terrorists by waterboarding.
And too bad he has four more years to be loud and wrong on every issue, unless God intervenes.
To: rabscuttle385
CIA Dir. said it did. He’s not on yr team either.

One would have thought that, by now, McCain would fully understand why he lost, despite the Herculean effort by Sarah Palin, the Presidential election---but, NO.
