What the media aren't saying about Obama Sr.

The media have taken some notice of Barack Obama Sr.'s immigration documents secured through the Freedom of Information Act by Heather Smathers, a young reporter for a start-up weekly, The Arizona Independent.

Most mainstream reports focus on Obama's Harvard years – overlooking a key scandal therein – and fully ignore the impact of these documents on the official Obama birth narrative.

The Associated Press headline is typical: "Files suggest elder Obama forced to leave Harvard." The AP, like the other media, cites concerns "about his personal life and finances."

This is true enough, but only the British press has addressed the most scandalous allegation. Although key words were redacted in the file, the redactions do not hide the obvious.

A March 1964 document suggests that Obama impregnated a Kenyan high-school student who was in Massachusetts on an exchange program. When the girl left inexplicably for London, immigration officials paid heed.

"The suspicion exists," a March 1964 INS document said, "that she may have gone to London for [redacted]." The girl cited a visit to her sister, but upon checking, officials discovered she had no sister in London.

“An August 1961 memo from INS official William Woods noted that Barack Obama Sr. fathered a son, Barack Obama II, who was born in Honolulu on Aug. 4, 1961.”

I agree with most of Cahill’s article, particularly the part about Obama Sr. getting an underaged girl pregnant and her getting an abortion.

However, he keeps referring to a handwritten note by William Woods as a “memo” and saying that it shows that Obama Jr. was born in Honolulu and Obama Sr. was the father.

The short note was dated August 31, 1961 and contained mostly inaccurate information. It states that Stanley Ann was living in Hawaii with her mother when Stanley Ann and Barack Jr. were in Seattle in August 1961. The note says Stanley Ann was planning to go to Washington State next semester when Stanley Ann was already enrolled at the University of Washington for that semester. Mr. Woods didn't even bother to check.

What may have happened:

SAD was having sex with both Obama Sr and FM Davis and maybe others in late 1960.

She got pregnant, Obama Sr assumed it was his and agreed to a quickie marriage on the down low in Feb 1961.

After the ceremony, Obama Sr found out she was also having sex with FM Davis and maybe others, and told her that he would not consider the child to be his, and told her to go to Canada to get an abortion, just like Obama Sr later did with the high school girl he got pregnant in Boston.

SAD drops out of college and goes to Canada for an abortion but decides to have the baby anyway. That is how she came to be seen by her high school friends in Seattle just a couple of weeks later. She stays in Seattle for her sophomore year of college, because she knows Obama Sr doesn't want her anymore. However, she still hopes he will reconcile.

The grandparents register the birth in Hawaii, but the half-handwritten affidavit of home birth is so laughable that in 2007 Obama Jr is afraid to show it. After delaying things for a few years, a few hardcore protectors in Hawaii protect him by coming up with a long-form hospital birth certificate (but they forgot about kerning).

Obama Sr was not convinced the baby was his, so he didn't disclose the existence of the child on his signed immigration forms.

Later, in 1964 Obama Sr. allows SAD to divorce him even though the marriage might be useful to allow him to stay in the U.S. She never seeks child support because she knows he would just deny he was the father.

The only time he ever saw the child was when Obama Sr came back to UH in 1971 to hang out with his college buddies. When she hears that Obama Sr is coming back to Hawaii for a visit, SAD rushes to Hawaii from Indonesia and convinces him to see the child and act like the father.

SAD's second husband is not impressed with how she rushed back to see her first husband, and this marked the turning point in the viability of her second marriage.

SAD and Gramps make sure that Obama Jr growing up spends a lot of time with FM Davis, because of the possibility that he might be the father.

I found a very creative postulation on another talkboard.

The originator took everything the Birthers have claimed so far, at face value, checked their sources, refuted the Obamabot counterarguments, went through everything from English Common Law to a 1960s ruling, and then finished with a flourish by applying following paragraph from Wong Kim Ark to their conclusions:

Suppose a person should be elected President who was native born, but of alien parents, could there be any reasonable doubt that he was eligible under the constitution? I think not.

What makes it all the more impressive is that the Obamabots on the same forum were tearing him to shreds at every step of the way for asserting the Birthers' claims had merit... right up to the point where he concluded that, by virtue of Obama actually being elected to the White House by the popular mandate, per the opinion from Wong Kim Ark Obama became elegible regardless of whether he was or wasn't natural born.

That conclusion is definitely open to debate but the "how Obama could be ineligible" scenario he presented, was about as wild as you can get:

Short of Barack Obama Senior travelling back in time to the American War of Independence, knocking Ann Durham up THERE, travelling forward in time and space to parachute the newborn infant into a Hawaiian hospital in time for the birth registration, putting the birth announcements in the press, faking his death, and handing Obama the keys to the White House by faking the election resultt, it is utterly impossible that Obama Junior can NOT be eligible.
