Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D) would start a Senate campaign with a 7 point lead over the likely Republican nominee Rep. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.)according to a survey by Public Policy Polling. The Democrat also enjoys a 57-31 lead over former Rep. J.D. Hayworth (R-Ariz.).

As we are fully aware... basic brain function is not a requirement for being a US Senator.
Come check out the AZ state board - the regulars there would beg to differ with your assessment! The coverage of Gabby Giffords in the AZ Rag and AZ Daily Star is absolutely shameless. And if not Gabby, then her husband Mark Kelly will be put up to run for Kyl's vacated Senate seat.
Brain damage only qualifies her to better understand and serve her Democrat constituents.
