Here's the thing about the whole mulsim burial at sea idea. If the intent was to ensure that those sympathetic to Osama would not be offended by our handling of the body, listen, they HATE AMERICA and they LOVE OSAMA. Shooting him in the head they might overlook but if he wasn't buried within 24 hours of death .... oooh, now they're mad!

So the upside is that a bunch of Al Quaeda sympathizers wouldnt be mad at us (well, they would because we just shot Osama in the head so they wouldnt be AS mad at us) and the downside is we have left them with a conspiracy theory that we secretly have him and are torturing him or something. Well, we can shut that down by releasing the photos that prove he's dead! Oh wait, no, we won't do that either. But he can't be made a martyr this way! Oh wait, we did admit to shooting him in the head so technically they could still create a martyr cult around him.
