Pfft. Were getting hosed at $4.29 (it went up today, CC).
Yikes, you're in my neck of the woods. I haven't left the yard today.

Highest I’ve seen in Central NC is $3.90. Average is $3.80-$3.85. The $4 psychological barrier is holding the price down, at least for now.

This is a good quote to use in the post-it note campaign next time you fill up at the gas station.

I got an email from Gas Buddy advising of the hike, and Meijer confirmed it on Facebook a short time later. Seems there’s a refinery/distribution problem in either Illinois or Indiana, which is hitting the Great Lakes area hard.
Geez, like we weren’t hit before.

At my gas station here in the western ‘burbs of Chitown, it had been at $4.299 when it dropped to $4.279 last week and stayed there a few days. Today on my way into work it was at $4.379, and on the way back home it was at $4.459 . $5, here we come.

Yeah right, CNN. Maybe last week.
Filled up last Monday @ $3.87/gallon. Same station a couple of hours ago, $4.19. (32 cents in just the past week)
At this rate we’ll easily blow by nationwide $5.00 averages by Memorial Day.
Thanks N0bama!
