Obama Relection Rally or Spontaneous Celebration ?

Posted on 05/02/2011 12:20:50 PM PDT by Chaffer

My apologies if this subject has already been posted.

I watched the events unfold last night, but found one
thing very odd.   How do a thousand people materialize
on the Washingto Mall late at night, simultaneous with
the president's speech, all of them roughly in their late
20's and early 30's, many holding Obama campaign
signs?

I've been to the Washington Mall, and it is not exactly
party-central late Sunday night.   From Georgetown
maybe ?   Very curious.

I was thinking the same thing. The speech was at 11:30PM. Minutes later, the camera’s showed the crowd. They had to be there before the speech. One reporter stated that every University in DC was represented. Looking at the crowed, they were all young. Very few elderly. What really got to me was that Americans really don’t celebrate things like that unless told to do so.

"Relection" and "Washingto Mall" and this is posted in NEWS?

Because you found something to be curious?

I think you meant to post this on Twitter, it's about par with that.

Do what I do. Sign up for Government email and tweets. You'll get all of the action before it happens.

I didn't see any obvious political overtones to the celebration. Just people happy a madman received his just reward.

Yes, I think it was an entirely STAGED event - constructed by on-campus Obama campaign operatives using the social media networks. Rather than Georgetown, I think it’s probably more likely that the initial wave of people came for GWU, which is only a few blocks from the WH.

The only logical reason to delay the announcement by Obama was because they needed to get their campaign workers to call out the troops for a spontaneous rally in front of the White House. I don't think that is a residential area and those people probably had to travel at a minimum of 30 minutes to an hour to get to the White House, find parking and organize in front of the White House gates.

This was a planned event. The planning may have been a last minute thing, but it was planned.

By the time Obama gave the speech, most people who work for a living had to be asleep and were not about to get out on a Sunday night at Midnight for a spontaneous victory celebration.

Yes it was quite curious.

The only possible answer is that the White House sent an email to all the Obama supporting college students sometime last week ordering them to hold Obama Killed Osama rallies on Sunday night.

Obama knew he would have to have a big event to distract from the news of the new Faked birth certificate and from the Big Birth Certificate Trial which is of all days Today!

Just a coincidence that a few days after Obama is busted for another forged BC and the day before Orly's case goes to court, that they would report that OBL had been killed?

Yep. It smelled fishy last night when I saw that too. There's no way they all went out and got new flags, Obama posters and stuff that fast.

I also see a possible connection between this and the shakeup days ago at the CIA. Someone there didn't like this plan... but of course isn't allowed to talk about it.

Was watching CNN, which caught the early arrival of the crowd, and the bewildered response from DC police and the strong secret service presence. It honestly looked, at first, to simply be people from local restaurants, bars and hotels who spontaneously gathered, prior to the speech.

I'm sure that Obama supporters saw it, figured this was good moment to haul out the signs, then hopped into transport to come put an Obama spin on it, but I really doubt that Obama shills would be singing God Bless America..

It was created by the followers of Urkel. They can generate a Rent-a-Mob at the drop of a hat. As soon as I saw it I knew it was a sham.

Georgetown isn’t that far away. There’s no MTR stop at Georgetown, but a young person could run-walk down to white house in 1/2 hour.

George Washington Univ is even closer - just a few blocks. Howard Univ. is also just north of the white house by a few miles. Catholic Univ. a bit further, but can get their by subway.

by the way, I saw quite a few Gadsden flags and Bush-Cheney signs in the first hour or so.

College kids are always looking for a good time - especially a historical event like this one.

Organized from the White House. Saw a few people who looked like they could be professors. Probably came from Georgetown University

An ultra-liberal friend of mine called me this morning.

Even he wasn’t buying the “spontaneous” gatherings with shiny new flags and Obummer signs.

Here i thought I was alone in my thinking this was planned for awhile.
