Cringe away, MoFo! If I wasn’t so old and cranky, and living in the sticks, I’d have been out raising hell myself!
Was she so disturbed about the muslims dancing in the streets over 9/11.
What goes around, comes around.
They started it.
They can suck it up if they don’t like the reaction.
I wanted to puke and turned it off. These are the same snots that think the military is for losers who are too dumb for college or are poor white trash. These are the same snots who cringe at the thought of ROTC being on their campus, they are the same ones who rail against the military industrial complex, they are the same snots who could care less that 28 of their peers were killed in Afghanistan last week.
The disdain that they show for the military is what killed it for me. They do not grasp that it is because of our military that they have the life they have.
The only thing that bothered me was hearing they had a Muslim service for this POS, including prayers, before they tossed him over the side. They should have had dogs piss on him, then cut off his head, put him in a hog carcass, and worked up an active chum slick before they tossed him over the side. And, oh yeah, they should have filmed it, hacked into every media outlet in towelheadland, and made all those 2001 “Dancing in the street” folks, watch it. Screw the PC.
ODERINT DUM METUANT!
Those kids looked about 19 years old which would make them about 9 years old when this all started. I doubt ANY of them actually know who OBL was and what he really did. they were just told to make a lot of noise-also where did they get the American flags so quickly?
Did the White House hand them out like they did the white coats for the “doctors?”
I am in total agreement with you. Most of these students wouldn’t be caught dead serving in the military because it’s totally beneath them. At minimum, over half of them are crazy lefty Obamabots who bitched and moaned about interrogation techniques and Gitmo, and the war in general — for YEARS. If it were up to them, we wouldn’t be celebrating SQUAT.
As military folks, We’ve known too many who were killed ..it just doesn’t bring them back. It just doesn’t erase all the hassle and suffering. It’s just an odd bittersweet/sour feeling. I can’t describe it. But I definitely couldn’t stand watching “the students” crowd surfing and high fiving ...most of them are whooping it up because it was done under Obama’s watch and are going to endlessly promote him because of it.
>>>Petula Dvorak? Can’t the Post find any real Americans to write for it?<<<
Real Americans would not take a job from the Post.
When it goes well with the righteous, the city rejoices; And when the wicked perish, there is jubilation. (Proverbs 11:10)
PARTY ON !!
The question should be to the Palestinians that were dancing in the streets after 9/11. Well, Look whos’ dancing now!
Oh, I remember this guy! He’s the one who also cringed when Muslims celebrated the World Trade Center deaths.... NOT!
“You are far from alone. Everyone I know feels the same way.”
Well, nobody I know feels that way, except for the America-hating moonbat I have to work with.
If this writer wants Vulgar it should attend a San Fran “gay rights” rally.
Petula, were you cringing when people were jumping to their deaths from their office windows to escape the flames of the burning Twin Towers?
Not even close. The muslims were celebrating the murder of close to 3000 innocents.
It is repugnant to compare the two (IMHO).
By the time I saw images of college age kids celebrating in front of the White House and heard the giddy tone of the media I was saddened as Barky now would be the "come-back kid."
In fact, I thought Andrea Mitchell seemed especially pleased. I don't recall that being her reaction to Saddam's hanging during Bush's presidency.
A mixed reaction from me at best.
Washington Post’s Petula Dvorak needs longer arms so she can push herself back more from the food table.
