Surely someone saw the buses and the people getting off of them, right? I mean, come on, who would believe Americans visiting in DC would show up at the WH to celebrate the death of OBL? Yeah, it was probably set up by the SEIU, right? What did surprise me, though, was most of the people seemed pretty young.

I don’t believe a bunch of young people all decided to go down to the White House at 11pm to celebrate. Perhaps a bar in Georgetown but not down to the White House.

My kids were in elementary school and got sent home for several days when the towers fell. One of my younger son’s friends lived with us for a few weeks when his parents went daily to ground zero looking for the remains of the boy’s uncle. I am not surprised by the youth of the celebrants. 911 is one of the defining events of their generation. Most I know are more conservative and patriotic than the hippies that are running our government during our present sad season.
