New Delhi: Former Pakistan president General (retired) Pervez Musharraf called the operation by US forces to kill al Qaeda leader and 9/11 mastermind Osama bin Laden in Abbottabad near Islamabad a violation of Pakistani sovereignty."America coming to our territory and taking action is a violation of our sovereignty. Handling and execution of the operation (by US forces) is not correct. The Pakistani government should have been kept in the loop," Musharraf told CNN-IBN in an exclusive interview."Foreign troops crossing the border into Pakistan will not be liked by the people of Pakistan.
US forces should not have crossed over into Pakistan," he said.Musharraf, who was the chief of Pakistani Army before he orchestrated a bloodless coup in 1999 and took over the government in Pakistan, said that Pakistan has also been incurring the wrath of terrorists and has been an ally in the 'war against terror'. He said that all the forces trying to neutralise terror group should trust each other.
"If there is a lack of trust, it is bad. We are fighting the same enemy. It is wrong strategically and the issue of lack of trust is very bad. There has to be trust between the two agencies fighting the same enemy," he replied when asked if US claims that Pakistan was not kept in the loop about the operation against bin Laden were true.
He rubbished speculations that some Pakistani authorities were helping bin Laden and they helped him during his stay in Abbottabad, which incidentally also has the Pakistan Military Academy.
"There is no possibility of any local administration collusion but there could be involvement of

The great moderniser, edifice who protected civilisation against the Mohammedan hordes....... and supreme con artist.
Another piece of the puzzle.
LOL You'll like what they do even less!
This message by the Pak Pres. is only intended for consumption by the muzzie masses.
Dealing with Musharraf parallels the old saying “everybody knows the game is crooked but it's the only one in town.”
Wouldn't want to be a Pak intelligence handler right now as their terrorist charges are now screaming like little girls at them asking how are they going to protect them from America.
I’m sure that domestic considerations would make them complain about being kept out of the loop even if they were in the loop. They have an issue with the ISI sympathies with the AQ/Taliban, and this threatens their civilian government.
Oh that’s brilliant. /s
Hey Moosh, STFU, or you may find yourself ONLY getting $4B this coming year in bribes, instead of $5Billion.
The gall!
Again, the Google Maps links that says more than a thousand words:
The US has been scammed hard - really hard - by Pakistan.
Oh please, it´s more and more obvious that their “civilian government” is a sham. Osama was hiding out in the very heart of the supposedly anti-Islamist Pakistani military. The Pakistani “Deep State” is not on our side, and has never been. We have been scammed - hard.
Time for Mooshie to go eff himself. With the way that deplorable, duplicitous POS played both sides of the conflict, he really should keep his mouth shut.
I've been up since 2:00 when I awoke and had to go to the bathroom and happen to have Fox on.
I watched it for a while including Dear Leader's speech which made me want to puke.
I muted it when WHORE-AL-DO came on as there is only so much my stomach can take.
However, Fox is now re-broadcasting (FOR THE 4TH TIME, and that does not include clips from the Messiah's speech) in it's entirety, the Fascist's self-congradulatory comments.
Enough already!
I've just about had it with Fox as they are turning into CNN-lite.
I wonder what Fox (and all the other Networks) would have done if this happened on Thurs? Would they have covered this or the big to-doo, Royal Nuptials, with which they were all agaga over?
Now that would have been interesting to see.
We should stop paying that hooker since they’re only sleeping with Beijing now and have been telling the Afghanis to do the same.
They started sleep with Beijing in the late 50s. They’d occassionally come to the Yankees for a few trinkets.
The Inter-SERVICES Intelligence is not some sort of out of control monster but a wing of the military. The current chief of army staff headed the ISI before he was promoted by Musharraf.
Not to mention purveyor of nuclear secrets....
He's not the President now and I see this as an implied criticism of the current regime. Something is up. Picking this time to kill or concoct a story that you killed Osama may be part of the larger effort to dislodge military regimes and replace them with popular Islamist governments. This whole thing stinks.
There is now Islamic group in Pakistan which is remotely powerful enough to challenge the Pakistani military in armed strength or popularity. The military perpetuated this myth that the nukes would land in Taliban hand while feeding other terrorist groups.
Musharraf wouldn’t have opened his mouth without the consent of the military.
