You're telling me that a secretive compound with 18' walls, barbed wire, and security cameras, located in a neighborhood of retired military officers near the capitol, located less than a mile from a military academy and a couple of prep schools used by the elites, would not have occasioned just a little bit of checking out? Even in the US, much less an authoritarian society like Pakistan?
And you are telling me that we DON’T have secretive compounds with 18” thick walls, barbed wire, and security cameras near OUR capitol?
If you have ever lived in a third world country, and worked with their police, local politicians, and military; you’d consistently find that they know what goes on everywhere outside of the shanty towns. Shanty towns don’t make them money, nor give them prestige. Every one else if fair game.
There is too much corruption to be able to build a facility and hide for 5 years there. A lot of people got paid, even if they were ideologically aligned.
