What does that mean?

NORTHCOM is is charge of the military forces in the 48 States. FPCON, Force Protection Condition, is the status system used to ensure the protection of military assets around the world.

FPCON B (Bravo) implements stricter security measures at military installations and locations. It was declared a few days ago by NORTHCOM for all the NORTHCOM area and jagusafr had a thread about it earlier yesterday. The thread got pulled for some reason.
