I’m so confused RC...I clicked on your link, but can’t find anything saying it happened last week?

That’s because they scrubbed it. I gave a link to the AP story and pasted the copy of it.

Minitrue has already updated history. There were a half dozen stories last night that said this happened last week, and that there were DNA tests which verified that it was actually Bin Laden that was killed, and that the US kept the body.

It seems that a decision was made that it would be better if OBL were killed early on May 2 in Pock-ee-stan (3-4pm EST May 1). Minitrue has fully revised history and you will find no reference to the earlier stories.

Rummy Chick posted a quote from one AP story on post # 1010. I would not be surprised if that post, or this entire thread disappeared. For now, it's there.

Also, I think the current version of history says OBL was buried at see, with a small Islamic ceremony, to honor his Muslim faith and provide for a quick burial of the body. If that actually happened, then many Muslims and AQ types might not believe that OBL is really dead. Not that I think that's a bad thing.
