Actually, penetration is considered rape. People can be raped with an object (a broomstick, for example), or manually. And the term applies to both men and women when they are subjected to penetration.
To quote Whoopi, “I know it wasn’t rape-rape. It was something else but I don’t believe it was rape-rape.”
