You’re stretching it now. Does that mean Hoover, Wilson, Arthur, Buchanan, Jackson and Jefferson were all ineligible to be president? Pehaps we should get SCOTUS to invalidate all of the acts during their presidencies too. Give me a break.

Obummer’s an idiot, but its time to stop with this crap and start focusing on issues. We have an election coming up and screaming about where his father was born won’t win us sh!t

“any woman who might lawfully be naturalized under existing laws, married, or shall be married to a citizen of the United States, shall be deemed and taken to be a citizen.” [Act of February 10, 1855, 10 Stat. 604, section 2]

Every President born before the adoption of the Constitution was eligible because of the grandfather clause of Article 2, Section 1 :

No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President;

You are correct. Both parents must already be citizens for the offspring to be natural born.
