If you surveyed 1,000 Obama voters, white or black; I would guess that was the main reason they voted for him.
Did people seriously listen to his policy ideas?
Not a chance.

They voted for him for 2 reasons. He was black (and white Obama supporters felt morally superior by supporting a black for president), and he “wasn't Bush.

The electorate is very intellectually shallow. Most have no idea what form of government we have, and probably have no idea the Constitution should be the bedrock of our government.
