Guess Where Donald Trump's Menswear Line Is Manufactured?

"Trump has long complained of China's currency manipulation and called for a 25% tariff on imports from China. He has even exhorted Americans to stop buying cheap Chinese-made goods.

We wonder if that includes the Donald J. Trump Signature Collection, Trump's menswear line that is the "pinnacle of style and sophistication" and, as luck would have it, made in China."

“The only way we can get those jobs that made America great and prosperous back is to remove the crippling regulations.”

Get rid of the unions.

Leftist Talk radio has been making a huge deal with this for the last two days. They have got Trump dead to rights on this one, and when you are a phony exposure is what you should expect.

That fat pig makes me throw up, the more I read about him

I view Trump as a clownish braggart. He is no way presidential, he has no conservative credentials, has a history of giving money to whoever will grease the wheels for him regardless of what they represent (hundreds of thousands of dollars to Democrats), has stated that he supports socialist single payer health care in the US (went as far as to say how liberal he was on this issue), has promoted massive wealth surcharge taxes amounting to 5.7 trillion dollars, etc, etc, etc.

Trump is no conservative and deserves no conservative support if he tries to run for President. We can all cheer Trump on for taking it to Obama in the media. We can all cheer Trump on for pointing out what a failure Hussein is. All that stuff is wonderful, but it doesn't make Trump a conservative and it doesn't warrant conservatives supporting him for President.

As far as Trump goes he is kicking Obama in the shins. That works for me.

Yup. Me too. No MALE Republicans are doing the dirty work. As a matter of fact, they are all hiding behind Republican skirts.

It's about time somebody started playing using the liberal Democrat playbook and Trump's got the money to not give a rat's ass what they say. Refreshing.

We have a few (thankfully not many) on this thread spinning for Trump.

Comb-over boy could be surprised in his bed tomorrow morning with three dead girls, two live boys, and an IV drip of cocaine and there would still be Freepers to chant, "Yeah, but as long as he's bashing Obama, he's my hero".

Yeah, we really ought to be cheering on that 'weeping' willow we got after last November's election.

The election is not today or tomorrow. So for now let Trump keep after Obama. Let Trump hammer at Obama. The more he does the more likely Obama is to show more of his true colors. He is very thin skinned.

Obama cannot stand to be criticized. And before he was elected the media and the timid types running against Obama would not be critical because the racist label would have been hung on them. Trump is clearing that all aside. He is making Obama easier to go after. He also has Obama on the defensive. That is new.

I don’t care if Trump is a liberal, conservative or whatever. All I know is that he is hammering Obama and largely getting away with it as far as the media goes. Trump is damaging Obama and Obama is not taking it very well. Keep in mind Obama’s “carnival barker” comment. That shows that Trump has him frustrated.

Trump is tearing up Obama’s armor while tearing down the medias ability to cover for Obama. It is working because more and more “negative news” about Trump is coming out like this mention of his clothing line.

American presidential politics is a tough, bare knuckled war. Trump knows that and so does Obama. Watching this is so much fun for me. Stunningly entertaining. And the timing is just fine. We are a long ways off so let Trump keep going until he runs out of ammo. I think that the best is yet to come and when Trump or even Corsi put the real stuff out about Obama it is going to be awesome.

For the first time there is blood in the water around Obama. That is a very good thing.

I agree. In fact, Trump is just a little more conservative than Romney.

Romney signed Romneycare, which is a worse offront to Freedom and Liberty than anything Trump could ever hope to do as a private citizen.

That 25% tariff would apply to anything the Donald buys from China too, wouldn’t it? If so, then what’s the problem?

The 'problem" is that they don't like Trump. Some of them, right here on this thread, are literally rabid when it comes to Trump. Of course, such over dramatic, hysterical name calling not only doesn't hurt Trump, but damages those who such posters support.

Who cares and besides, I bet he negotiated a very good deal with the Chinese to get it made there. Just like he would do in behalf of the USA with China, Saudi Arabia, etc.

For all his faults, TRUMP LOVES America, and would not BOW in obeisance to our enemies or to those who are screwing us over on an ongoing basis, hold state diners for them or apologize to them.

It’s a shame that grifters like Trump suck the air out of the room while qualified folks have to shake their heads and wonder when it will end.

yes, I believe it matters. Trump has benefited from the business climate in America, benefited from Americans buying his goods and services. Benefited from in so many ways from America and Americans, he and others who offshore should be held accountable for the way in which they thank America for the wealth.

“he and others who offshore should be held accountable for the way in which they thank America for the wealth.”

Spoken like a true class envy pushing Democrat. If America can’t or won’t compete, we will in deed be that Socialist Union that didn’t quite make it.

so you think it is appropriate to tell American workers that they must compete with foreign workers who live in squaller and earn pennies a day? This is not a conservative or liberal issue. It is an AMERICAN issue. Don’t corporations that have earned billions from American owe something to their country? Does not patriotism extend to corporations?

Corporations are only a vehicle by which individuals band together to invest in risk with limitation and reap rewards in accordance with their investment. It is a pure collectivist idea to give soul or morality to a corporation. In fact, only individuals should pay taxes in that taxing corporate profits is an immoral double taxation against the purchasers of the products and services of the corporation.
If we are talking about threatening to use tariffs to harm another nation’s industry over currency manipulation or to force down the price of oil by exacting an exorbitant export tariff on grain, then it makes sense. If it’s protecting union jobs, not so much.
