Prayers for the good people of Alabama...
What is the best way to send help? I fear that going through Large organizations like the Red Cross, is more like going through bureaucracies. Is there a church there that is taking donations directly?
We are Americans! The government get the hell out of the way, they will rebuild and better than before!
I am dedicating my next mission to my fellow Americans who are hurting, let them know we stand with you no matter what might come your way!
Eight deuce on the loose!
You can’t go wrong with the local Rotary Club. Zero overhead, best awareness of most critical local needs, and unassailable ethical handling of the funds.
This might be the closest club:

Try Samaritan’s Purse - http://www.samaritanspurse.org/
Check out series of photos at link. #3 of 41 is a sad shot, as is all of them.
I donate thru Operation Blessing at CBN. They are a Christian group that has an amazing 90%+ of their funds that go to the needy.
This video is an 8 minute clip shot by a news crew from a helicopter.
They have good footage of the damage at the Wrangler Distribution center, the largest business in town.
That is unbelievable. Where exactly is that Wal Mart distribution center that got blown away?
Ping for later
I’VE NEVER SEEN DEVESTATION LIKE THIS.
I thought of Samaritan’s Purse while at work and then got your message with address. Thanks.
