While we are not servants to the King and Queen, they do have and maintain diplomatic relationships with many nations, like the United States. The Queen gifted Barack Obama with a rather thoughtful gift when he was elected, to have the thought returned with an iPod and wrong region DVDs, which is probably why he classless ass found himself not invited!

From my understanding of how it works over there, while not officially a part of any political decisions and no official leadership role; they do meet with the Prime Minister and discuss various current events, and I’m sure give their input behind closed doors.

Actually watching a Christian wedding being celebrated and applauded, watching hundreds of thousands of people all cheering a young couple on to getting married instead of muslim this or muslim that and it’s ok to live with the guy more bs..... was actually pretty refreshing, IMHO.

I don’t think it’s his taste as much as it is that he can’t possibly consider another person’s interests, and so he probably just grabs something last minute. No one will eclipse the great O.

I started out with an 8000 watt, it was overkill and way too loud. Exchanged it for a 6500 watt Honda Inverter. Night and day noise level, barely louder than standing next to my Suburban idling.

If Obie feels there is a good chance he won't be reelected he will focus on moving the chains. Double down on advancing the agenda before leaving office. The Dems will wait out another three and out president like GWHB and pick back up where Obie leaves off.

The next truly conservative president needs to be able to switch the field. Advance conservative principles while undoing the Lib damage. Not allow US to be moved in the current direction at simply a slower pace.

I agree with Steyn on the Debt Ceiling. If reforms are not tied to the Debt Ceiling increase, other countries may move faster toward their back up plans of how to exist without the mighty US around.
