Now that Barack Obama has finally released his long-form birth certificate, the controversy is over. Right?
That's the news media's unanimous opinion.
Within minutes, perhaps seconds, of receiving the handout from the White House, our vigilant press watchdogs were busy attacking people like me and Donald Trump for even raising the issue of constitutional eligibility and proclaiming Obama meets all the requirements of the presidency.
Let me be the first to suggest the document Obama released demonstrates just the opposite and raises far more questions than it answers.
For me, the release was not unexpected. For about two or three weeks, Jerome Corsi, author of the upcoming and already best-selling book, "Where's the Birth Certificate?," and I have been discussing our mutual expectation that Obama was going to be forced to act. Between the unprecedented success of the book in pre-sales, polls showing most Americans not believing Obama's birth narrative and Donald Trump's megaphone, he had no choice.
Obama recognized he was losing the battle for public opinion.
There's not a doubt in my mind that his central focus was to pull the rug out from under Corsi's book which promises (and delivers, by the way) to prove Obama is ineligible for the presidency.

Neither the natural law nor the common law grants a legal father to a bastard.
Am I missing something ? I don't see those fields on either of the forms.
IN-EL-UH-GEE-BLEH
The press corpse will never report that.
Stopped at a red light yesterday I watched an Exxon changing its price sign to reflect a 15 cent per gallon price jump. Every time they gas their cars, the voters can appreciate the mess Obama has created during the course of his presidency.
But instead of hitting Obama where he can be hurt, we get page after page of birther fantasies. What was it the general in New Orleans said a few years ago. Some here are stuck on stupid.
“[S]adly, there’s what you know and what you can prove.”
Neither of which may have any bearing on what the courts ultimately pull from their backsides and call law.
LOL! You owe me a new keyboard!
All Republican candidates should not only wave their US birth certificates, but declare that BOTH their parents are US citizens and they are NATURAL BORN citizens as the Constitution requires.
All hell would break loose. Everyone knows this and it is a big part of why the powers that be are afraid of the NBC issue.
That should move Obama voters over to the republican party.
back during the campaign, Zero and the Dems raised a stink about McCain’s citizenship and a memo of understanding or whatever they called it, was signed and official. Now, under that agreement, and under law, for McCain to be a natural born citizen both his parents residing in a foreign country had to be American citizens. It follows, that a natural born citizen is one with two American citizen parents at time of birth. Otherwise, the law that includes McCain as a natural born citizen is invalid. Can’t have it both ways.
IIRC, Zero himself declared himself a ‘naturalized citizen’. The nature of natural born versus naturalized must be addressed and the Dems must be forced to face it and address it. imo jmo moo
“If you voted for Obama in 2008 to prove you are not a racist, you will need to vote for someone else in 2012 to prove you are not an idiot.”
That would be a FANTASTIC bumper sticker.
Can’t take credit, stole it.
“Still, I expect they are eventually going to be forced to address it. Someone is going to make it necessary.”
The supreme Court will either wait it out or reply that they have no jurisdiction to question his eligability — it’s “largely a state matter”. Of course, if he were not protected by political correctness and hounded by the old media, he’d be an easier target for them to tackle.
Won’t work. The USSC is the final authority on all Constitutional, and if there ever was a Constitutional question, this is.
Besides, since they dabbled in the Florida recount question, they would look pretty silly trying to claim they have to authority over this one.
You’re absolutely right. I stand corrected.
