Meanwhile, ads for “Freddie Gets Fingered: 3-D” run non-stop on PMSNBC and CNN...

They should advertise on Glenn Beck’s show instead of 5 different gold dealers.

just goes to show the ‘gate keepers’ are progressives and they are doing everything they can to keep anything like Atlas Shrugged from getting to the public
in this case, the ‘gate keepers’ would be critics.

The movie has only been in limited release for two weeks. It seems premature to think it will not make back the $10M investment when it is already 1/3rd of the way there after two weeks. There is still wide release in the US and release in other countries and DVD sales yet unkown.

The critics savaged it and yet everyone who sent a revew into us loved it. That's because a large proportion of the the people sending in reviews are Rand cultists.

"CNN, CNBC, and MSNBC are refusing to broadcast 15-second Atlas spots. Whats that about?" Not sure what it's about. Nobody watches them anyway so it saved them some money.

Call your local theater and tell them you'd like to know when they've got Atlas Shrugged scheduled. Theater owners like to make money. If enough people ask, the owners will bring it in.

I am going tomorrow afternoon, it is playing in Freeport, IL at the Lindo Theater!

"Most surprising, though, was the revelation CNN, CNBC, and MSNBC are refusing to broadcast 15-second Atlas spots. Whats that abou"But.., but..., why? All the professional reviewers told us how bad it was...not to waste our time seeing it. Why, oh why, would they refuse to take the producers money to run ads on their cash-strapped, low ratings networks? They did warn us that really cool people won't watch it.(sarcasm)

MSM refusing to air ads for a movie is nothing.
Just wait until the networks refuse to air conservative ads for the 2012 election.

I would not have a clue if it is offered in my area; it must be two years since I’ve stopped on the movies page to see what’s playing where.

CNN, CNBC, and MSNBC are refusing to broadcast 15-second Atlas spots. Whats that about? We know why, for sure.
But how do they get away with this? Other than porn or slander, isn't anyone supposed to be able to advertise?
We know the press is controlled - but this is is one step too far...
