“Hideous” describes them well——why does Eugenie wear all that makeup? She looks like a raccoon.
Hitting abuse, stoopid.
Whew, it’s back now. I only have really basic cable, network channels basically. I wish I could watch it on BBC!
Great image of the dress:

Fine, I’ll accept and understand.
Now what about the pope’s corpse? What about that is from God?
Jerusalem
Raccoon? She looks like Bellatrix LaStrange from the Harry Potter movies! I keep waiting for her to whip out a wand and cast the death mark over the cathedral!
You could follow that up by declaring independance from this thread. Just saying.
This isn’t a thread about “Indulging TSgt’s unfortunate personality defects”. It’s about the Royal Wedding.
Even on DU (!) they’re enjoying this special day. The only person who has a problem with it seems to be you.
That pic is a keeper. What a beautiful wedding album she will have.
Class.
Get some.
Two people are getting married, and all you can do is nitpick.
Funny story - a 2-star general stopped in the office while I was eating and watching. 2-star genreals do not frequently just casually pop in here.
He jokingly said, "OK, I'm just stopping by to see who's working during lunch."
I mock-sheepishly said, "Errr...I'm watching the royal wedding."
He came over to my computer asking "Has Kate arrived yet?" and watched with me for a few minutes as Kate was being driven to Westminster Abbey.
LOL
Just like a liberal, no sense of humor...
Well I am so glad they got it back. BBC is nice because there is no commentary.
Having grown up there ....for the first time in a long long time , I actually feel there IS hope for England .
Again....
I pray so
God save the Queen !
I’ve watched the whole thing .. loving all of it .. ‘cept the 2 craven creeps of the family.
I LOVED the wink that Wills gave Kate at the alter .. he’s a man .. ! Now a husband .. so hard to comprehend the years since he was just a toddler .. flying by so fast.
I don’t think Kate got much sleep last night, and who could blame her.
Haven’t heard the tiara name yet, but she looks lovely and very properly a beautiful and smitten Duchess. It is sort of reminiscent of Princess Grace’s gown.
I hope Wills speaks .. I thought he would.
The choir ... spectacular!
God bless the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge always .. may their life together be long and joyful!
THE HYMN
And did those feet in ancient time
walk upon Englands mountains green?
And was the holy Lamb of God
on Englands pleasant pastures seen?
And did the countenance divine
shine forth upon our clouded hills?
And was Jerusalem builded here
among those dark satanic mills?
Bring me my bow of burning gold!
Bring me my arrows of desire!
Bring me my spear! O clouds, unfold!
Bring me my chariot of fire!
I will not cease from mental
nor shall my sword sleep in my hand,
till we have built Jerusalem
in Englands green and pleasant land.
Jerusalem
William Blake (17571827)
Charles Hubert Hastings Parry
arranged by Edward Elgar (1857-1934)
I will not allow you to ruin my mood this morning, so, as the Brits would say, SOD OFF!
Agreed, it was timeless. It says so much about the couple. Well I'm off to run arrands..don't cry anymore! LOL.
LOL!
No sense of humor on this thread, fine, enjoy your wedding!
