Well, my Reuben will be my alarm clock and my sweet Pug Jack.
I will be here at 4:00AM and STARWISE had better plan to be here too, or I’ll call her!!!
I think Liz can have this thread made LIVE by asking the admin moderator to move it to breaking news [at the proper time - maybe midnight?] or asking the AM for assistance anytime throughout the day.
Does anyone know which channel and what time this will be rebroadcast on the west coast for people who need to sleep at night???
Lady Mary Charmaine-Russell.... AKA Dolly
No, nothing special, we just all show up here :)
Duh, of course I can just DVR it. But what channel?
It’s a BYOT...”Bring your own Tea” Party Think I’ve got some English Breakfast tea somewhere.
We’ll miss you at the party...
I know...just pointing out that formula didn’t seem to work until....
Liz! By Jove, it works! I may have just come up with a new screen name! Thank you!
“Served on solid gold dinnerware with gold cuttlery” - for 600 guests? Wow. I wonder if they need any dishwashers? “Wait a minute! These are paper plates painted gold! Where’s that American dishwasher we hired? OK Palmolive Boy, let me introduce you to a game we play here in England. It’s called ‘Off With His Head’. No, you won’t be needing your hat.”
The Queen of England? I thought Elton was too busy taking care of his new kid.
What time does it begin?
I think that I will watch/DVR it on BBC America (suggested in a previous post)
Can a Royal, not in line of succession..marry someone who isn’t British...would that also apply to Harry, the “spare?”
It’s NOT going to be rebroadcast. It’ll be live or nothin’.
It’s likely that most international news orgs will take the feed off the BBC (who else?) with some of the other networks that are big enough (most of the American MSM, basically) throwing in a few of their own cameras for good measure.
If you’re NOT planning to stay up and watch (which I am, God help me), your best bet is to either A) DVR it for later viewing, or failing that B) have someone tape it for you.
I am guessing there will be a commerative DVD made with lots of video of lots of things including the pre service, service, parties etc.
for those that can afford these things, they are neat
It looks like most major networks’ coverage will begin at 1:00am (Pacific)...ABC, NBC, FOX, E! Network, CNN, etc. For whatever reason, CBS’ coverage (hosted by Katie “Rah-Rah” Couric) is starting 1 hour later.
Tea Party game - how fun!
Lady Anna Fluffy of North Bali
LOL!
I hope y’all enjoy. Wake me when it’s over.
Thanks, sweetie! Nothing I would love more than to watch live with Freepers and dish! But unborn daughter and I gots to sleep!
I was just a little shaver when Charles married Diana but I do recall Robert Morley (does anyone remember him?) was a commentator, for ABC I think. Utterly ridiculous. That's network news for ya.
