John Byrne’s “Man of Steel” mini-series from 1986(?) solved the question of Superman's citizenship. Apparently Kryptonians conceived via artificial insemination and the children gestated in artificial wombs. Jor-El loaded the artificial womb containing as-yet-unborn Kal-El into the rocket ship and sent it to Earth. When the rocket landed, Kal-El emerged from the womb and was born in Kansas.

Here’s a question:

How did Ma Kent manage to make his costumes from his blankets and other materials found inside the rocket if they could not be cut, burned, torn, ripped or otherwise modified because they were ‘super’ too?...................
