Obama's Real Strategy
The American Thinker ^ | 4/28/2011 | James V Capua

Watching the machinations of Barack Obama, it seems as though he is creating what the Marxists call "internal contradictions."

Gas prices ready to breach the $5 mark, but a relentless Administration campaign against increased domestic energy production; midterm elections soundly rejecting the President and his party's command and control initiatives, but vigorous efforts to extend them in contempt not only of electoral, but legislative and judicial checks; foreign and defense policies that have produced nothing beyond betrayal of our interests and few remaining friends, but an eager embrace of fringe notions of a utopian internationalist order and our place in that order: every day brings new movements in this symphony of dissonance.

Unfortunately, we are not simply enjoying a clarifying dialectic; we are in the middle of a high stakes race. The objective in this race is not a place; it is a date: Election Day, November 6, 2012

When national Republicans respond to Obama talk talk in their accustomed mush mouthed, tentative, and bloodless way, they generally turn off those they need the most to join them -- including the libertarians and the generally politically inert 25-somethings, for whom irony and not outrage is the preferred tone. But show you can fight, win, and deliver and they will give you a chance.

Hear! Hear! Excellent article...

The breaking point is imminent on whether our country will ever have a chance to recover from this a$$hole in chief.

Obamacare destroys actual, meaningful healthcare and bankrupts the country.
(Pretends holding an insurance card is equal to receiving healthcare)

Obama’s budgets destroy the American economy, plunging us into irreconcilable debt.
(Currently 4 times worse than Bush budgets)

Obama has an Incoherent Foreign Policy
(Hillary can’t explain it)

He has Complete contempt for the energy industry reflected in stifling regulation.
Pretending preference for wind and solar while ignoring objections by States and Environmental groups.

He Ignores 15,000 deaths in Mexico, while pretending to care about 400 deaths in Libya as pretense for “saving them”.

Which of these is an unreasoned, race based observation?

If the world wasn't so hard on the guy he'd have a clearer cerebral path to certain success. It's the fault of nit-pickers everywhere.

When will it be reported that he cut thru his own tow line long ago and that holding hearings on strawberry prices and who's causing them to spike is absurd?

Actually, the tipping point is in the rear view mirror. It’s called the debt bomb.

“The objective in this race is not a place; it is a date: Election Day, November 6, 2012”

No it isn’t. It is about the rise of the 4th Reich.

When the left introduced the fairness doctrine, the right should have said, “OK, the MSM will also be held to the same standard and Coulter can have her Sunday morning show right after Meet the Depressed.” Every editorial will have a left and right opinion regardless of story. Every radio newscast and television newscast will have to be labeled “Commentator reporting from left or right.”

Chris Matthews, Maddow, Olbermann and the rest of the Stalin brigade would have to feature Conservative commentators on their shows, getting equal time and be able to call them out if they are lying.

Who cares if the left put people on right tv shows or radio shows? We already do that and rip them to shreds.

baraq got his “education” from bill ayers and jeramiah wright. Van Jones is one of his closest advisors.
IF the MSM had done their homework, baraq wouldn’t even be a US senator.
we have been had.

Exactly and people had better pull their heads out of their butts and recognize that Obama is just one tiny piece of the greater goal. In fact, he wouldn't have been elected if much of the plan hadn't already been successful.

“Every Day I hear more disdain in Public about Obama.”
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Any time someone expresses anything other than disdain for Obama I become wary of them as I would of anyone who displays evidence of being mentally deranged. Those who don’t understand by now that he is a total disaster either are part of the plan to destroy America or so limited in understanding that they are not to be trusted with sharp objects.

That's more about where we hang out than what is going on. The worst polls for Obama show him with what IMHO, is incredibly strong support from his bases: The young, particularly young women, African-Americans, Jews, Union Members, particularly Catholic union members, women across the spectrum, and Latinos. The young and African-Americans require a great deal more motivation to actually vote, and they'll get it. I am also sure that massive fraud is in the works. God knows they can now afford it. In practical terms, even if diehard support "sinks" to 45%, they can spend all their money on working 7% among the "undecided."

We have to face some unpleasant electoral facts, and that is that on any given day, Team Obama and the Democrats can take an election. With a default base very close to 50%, they can steal the close ones, and in their territory, using fraud to increase the margin of victory, steal enough votes to carry a whole state.

We need to fight fraud by all means necessary. And we need to really really turn out OUR base. It looks to me that in 2008, 4 million who had voted for Bush ... stayed home! They can't afford to do that.

Good piece. I wonder if any of the GOP candidates will take its points into account.
