Beyond being a dyed in the wool, doctrinaire Reagan Conservative, he is hilarious. Some of the quick witted remarks and dry delivery reminds me of Bob Dole from 30 years ago. There is a whole generation of these new Reagan disciples making their way through the ranks. It gives one a sense of hope that not all is lost. Yet.

He’s a good guy. And his jokes on Twitter are so dry they make you thirsty. ;-)

This is the first I've heard of McCotter 2012 and I know some folks with close ties to him. I'll see if I can find out if this is going anywhere.
If he runs for higher office, I can see him going for senate.

Despite a few disagreements with the man I like him. He can give a hell of a speech.

First I heard of this gentleman, was during Pelosi’s attempted silencing of the House.
I cannot find that great first video, but this will have to do for now ; }

I second that Cripplecreek. Folks just go out on youtube and listen to the guy. Very quick witted. And conservative.

McCotter has the same problem as Michelle Bachmann: US Representatives do not jump directly into the White House. As he has no chance of winning a state-wide election in the People’s Republic of Michigan, he needs to move to North Dakota and take Kent Conrad’s Senate seat.

The logical Red Eye ticket (for the largest demographic) is actually McCotter-Terry Schappert

s he has no chance of winning a state-wide election in the Peoples Republic of Michigan I wouldn't say that he has no chance. Michigan leans democrat, but it's not Illinois or California. He's won in a tough district based in Wayne County five times. Bush won the district, but so did Granholm and Obama. McCotter in the last election won Garden City, Dearborn Heights, and almost won Westland. Those are deep blue union areas. In the horrible 06 and 08 elections, McCotter won the swing areas of his district. Canton, Walled Lake, and the city of Plymouth.
Stabenow is beatable, if the GOP doesn't give up before it starts or runs someone who was obviously talked into running and doesn't really want the job.

Is there not a picture rule when posting Ms. Cupp’s articles, as there is for Ann Coulter? If not, there should be.
