(CNN) - As Katie Couric gets set to leave CBS News after five years in the anchor chair, it doesn't appear as if Sarah Palin will be sending any flowers.
Appearing on Fox News Tuesday, Palin mocked the CBS newswoman who told People Magazine she is looking forward to a new position that will facilitate "multi-dimensional storytelling."
"Yeah, and I hear that she wants to now engage in more 'multi-dimensional story telling' versus I guess just the 'straight on, read into the, that teleprompter screen story telling,'" Palin said. "More power to her. I wish her well in her - 'multi-dimensional story telling.'"
Palin has repeatedly made clear she is still no fan of Couric, who's interview with Palin produced one of the most memorable political foibles of the 2008 presidential campaign.

Katie is moving on by choice and the words about more dimensional story telling are her words of the moment. Why cast Sarah as being less than gracious?
Someone trying to make points, made a catty response to their (Katie and Sarah”) comments. Totally unnecessary. MO
Sarah receives criticism not deserved in regard to anything she says or does. Notice she ignores it. It is always a ploy to make the public think less of her from those of ill intent. MO
Not that she is running, but what does a presidential candidate sound like? Like the stuff that the President is putting out these days, about Paul Ryan of all people.
BUT... I'll take a single faux pas from an experienced and capable governor over a career-wide pattern of inadequacy and bias from an past-it, cheer-leading simpleton passing herself off as a professional ‘journalist’, ANY DAY!!!
-——Palin needs to make friends in the media-——
That is a ridiculous statement. She nor any other Republican presidential candidate can not make friends with the MSM. They will not have it.
The MSM is the enemy.......write it 100 times till embedded firmly.
To kiss media ass is to lose control. To go in defense is to lose.
Attack, attack, attack
Have to say that Couric has always been a pretty tough interviewer. Palin let herself walk into that trap not well-prepared probably because she has had never watched the Today Show.
Couric couldn’t outwit Sarah if she had a team of writers whispering in her ear. YES, it is refreshing to have a candidate (we hope) who is not afraid of them, or their Democrat mas’sahs one bit.
Even at Fox she has enemies.
Reagan was always respectful of the media, even though he knew they disagreed with him. He knew how to charm them. You catch more flies with honey, than with vinegar.
Do you think that Perky Katie will make a good Modern Major-General?
Okay, this “hoos30” person is definitely a troll. It has about 10 posts in the last 9 years. Hit and run troll, all the way.
Sad to see some folks are still buying the smear campaign against Palin hook, line, and sinker.
“Who’s”?!
Your response reminds me of my son’s Pop Warner football team. The coach’s wife had team shirts made that said, “Who’s House? Our House!”
It was a running joke with most of the parents. A few, though, still did not get it.
There are a lot of reasons that Palin stumbled on that interview. What is especially disingenuous coming from the MSM and other Liberals, is that THEY made it appear as a basic and systemic, never-to-be rectified problem.
NOT SO. However, The MSM harped on it and magnified it out of all proportion to its actual significance. American voters being the malleable knuckleheads they are, it worked.
It was NEVER demonstrated that Palin is pathologically ill-informed or uneducated and since she was on a short leash with McCain, she permitted herself to be handled in a really shabby way by these clowns who can not THEMSELVES pass the simplest acid test for credibility, character, intellect, or anything else.
It is one of the main reasons I NEVER watch political interviews

“You catch more flies with honey, than with vinegar.”
It’s that sort of flawed thinking that has been getting good Conservatives DESTROYED of late.
Reagan lived in a different era of media.
Any Conservative that treats the media in any manner other than the enemy is asking for trouble or is simply a watered down version of the kind of leaders we need.
I believe taking the high road here would prove far more beneficial.
If Reagan were still here today, do you think he would have taken the same approach that Palin has?
yes Im beginning to think you are right. She will not run this time but she will one day.
CAT FIGHT !!!
