Listening to Bartow County sheriff, fire and EMS scanner feed. Many lines and trees down making it hard to get where they need to be at times. Having to turn around and take alternate routes. Injuries and entrapments being handled first.
oh dear, that doesn’t sound good at all....such tragic encounters with this beast tornado....(SIGH)

Yes..in the end he was one pretty scared puppy though...did you hear him say “Oh God.. I’m scared” and he’s breathing heavy etc. Pretty amazing footage he caught though. Most professional strom chasers would not have gotten that close....I don’t think he was prepared for the after draft which is here he began to actually panic.

Yes, near the end of the video it sounds like he was nearing his own end! Pretty scary, anyone would be scared in those conditions.
I noticed the weather channel producer asked him and got permission to use the video on tv.

Yea, he’ll tell his story to some tv host...and he should...few would have been so foolish to try that.

EPB reports 95,000 homes without power, and the number has been climbing, not dropping. They say it will take them days to restore service. TVA reports the storm has done damage to their entire power grid.
North Georgia Electric reports 10,000 outages in Catoosa, Walker, Whitfield, Murray & Chattooga counties, but that, too, should rise with
Tornado hit 2 miles from where I live. Im in Newport TN near the NC border. It hit near the high school I went to as a kid. Worst storm this area has ever seen.
I know that area also.. scary storms. Talked with my son in Winston Salem and they are bracing for the hit shortly

It is about 6am East Coast time, and there are a couple of Tornado Watches/Warnings around Utica, NY. Pennsylvania now has Tornado Watches/Warnings up...
Bham is a mess. Large numbers of deaths in one neighborhood. Film on TV this morning looks like Berlin after the Russian got through with it. Just mass destruction all over the place. 128 dead last I heard this a.m. Going to be more I am sure. Probably billions in damages in the end totals. Massive destruction all over.
...such drastic destruction all around, and loss of life. Hopefully all needing rescue have been.
