They are not forged and whoever convinced you they are is mistaken and got you mistaken.
Up till recently Obama was the focus of anything bad which is why he baited Republicans to offer up ‘big budget’ cuts. Then Ryan's plan gets voted on and passed by house Republicans. Obama sees his 2012 strategy suddenly appear :
“Republicans want to take away your medicare to pay for tax cuts for the rich, big oil, and foreign corporations.” It's simple, it's understandable and it's hard to defend against, because the defense involves complex interactions and unknowns. Obama’s got his plan.
But then that Carnival Barker Trumps gets the MSM to talk about his accusations endlessly. They may disagree with Trump's accusations while reporting it but that is the story they see that sells. Plus we all see our gasoline prices going up. No one is covering Obama’s attacks on 'the plan' and the disrupted Town Hall meetings (but MSNBC.) So Obama has to try the get the BC talk off the news so he can get the MSM to focus on how 'Republicans are in trouble'.
Why Obama didn't do this before I have no way of knowing, Beck says it's because the references to his father on the BC.

In the past, Obama team liked the birther story because it was a part of their ‘they are racists’ line, but Trump is too high profile and too inured to the typical attacks. I ALSO THINK IT WAS TRUMP’S QUESTIONS ABOUT COLLEGE GRADES THAT REALLY GOT THEM MOVING. The questions were PILING UP, not just about ‘where’s the BC?’ and they needed to stop it. Consider how seriously the WH takes Trump when they do this:

So yes, the Obama “Game Plan” has been getting ‘off-message’ with all the Birther stuff but also Trump’s other questions.
In the long run, this issue if it sticks around helps Obama, because he can use it as a foil “see my moron racist enemies are so stuck on stupid they cant even read my birth certificate.” Just like in 2008 he talked about how he didnt look like the folks you see on money.
Obama does want to take on Ryan and make the debate a medi-scare thing. For that reason, the GOP IMHO should NOT take the bait, and should instead focus RIGHT NOW on a simple message “No Debt Ceiling raise without serious andfundamental budget reform.” It hs to be spending caps and FY2012 spending levels below 20% of GDP.

His father was an African. There is a fill-in-the-blank space on the birth certificate and Obama’s Kenyan Dad put “African”. Nothing wrong with that.

Just cause he says he couldnt find it, doesnt mean its not there. Either Tim Adams didn’t look hard enough, didnt have authority to look in the right place, or was not telling the truth. His statements have now been contradicted with this latest BC release.
We now have a certified copy of the real original Birth Certificate. It confirms many particulars already known about Obama’s birth. And it confirms what the DOH head had said prior, which was that Obama’s original birth cert was on file with the State of Hawaii.

OK, it is factual to point out that there no boxes or categories there, just a typed field, and the parents are self-describing themselves. Race on a birth certificate doesn’t come from a hospital worker looking at the father and writing down the father’s race; it is determined by asking the father what he considers his race to be. So the question is, would it be reasonable for Barack Obama Sr, born in Kenyan, to call his race ‘African’? It is.

Now familiar to you, but I’m guessing you did not grow up in Kenya. Maybe in America the term “African” was out of place, but to guy who was in Kenya until 11 months before this kid was born, why wouldnt he list his race as African?
It wasn’t how Americans described Africans, but how Africans described Africans in 1961. many Africans from that era referred themselves as the “African Race”.

Actually, Trump is working out GREAT for the GOP for now. He’s a great attack dog, and frankly, will not be the nominee.
If he goes off on other GOP candidates, it can get dicey though.
Fair enough for the time being.
