Yeah Im curious about those too. And how was this typewritten if connected to the one on the left? Were two at a time typed? Or is this a copy?

I think what they're showing is the way a document would appear if it were in a binder and a copy made without removing it from the binder, just laid face down on a copy machine still bound.
