How about Sinclair? He was a retired physician who died in 2003 but the obit didn't say what kind of doctor he was. I can't find a Dr. Smilar anywhere, BTW.

DAVID A. SINCLAIR, retired Honolulu physician and Manoa resident, died Aug. 20, 2003. A longtime obstetrician/gynecologist. Survived by wife, Ivalee; children, Margaret Peterson, Katherine McClatchy, Rebekah Luke and David, Ruth, Karl and Brian Sinclair; 11 grandchildren; a great-grandchild. Visitation 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Central Union Church Atherton Chapel; service 5:30 p.m. No flowers. Aloha attire. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association of Hawaii. Arrangements by Borthwick Mortuary.
