Please show me in the U.S. Constitution, the Federal Code, or any Treaty ratified under the U.S. Constitution the definition of “Natural Born Citizen” that requires both parents to be citizens of the U.S. at the time of birth.

The evidence must be from one of those three places, as they are the Supreme Law of the Land according to Article VI of the U.S. Constitution.

Thank you.

I am satisfied. However, his father was not an American, therefore I don’t think he is a natural-born citizen. Not that it matters apparently.

This should be good. Obviously it has taken several weeks to recontruct, what with the need to research addresses, and finding the name and signature of a deceased physician to use. Then they had to convince one of the hospitals to agree to be named.
Then there is the issue of font. What did they learn from Dan Rather?
I smell real fear coming from the White House.

Kenyan-born Obama all set for US Senate

Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.

The allegations that horrified fellow Republicans and caused his once-promising candidacy to implode in four short days have given Obama a clear lead as Republicans struggled to fetch an alternative.

Ryan’s campaign began to crumble on Monday following the release of embarrassing records from his divorce. In the records, his ex-wife, Boston Public actress Jeri Ryan, said her former husband took her to kinky sex clubs in Paris, New York and New Orleans.

"It’s clear to me that a vigorous debate on the issues most likely could not take place if I remain in the race," Ryan, 44, said in a statement. "What would take place, rather, is a brutal, scorched-earth campaign – the kind of campaign that has turned off so many voters, the kind of politics I refuse to play."

Although Ryan disputed the allegations, saying he and his wife went to one ‘avant-garde’ club in Paris and left because they felt uncomfortable, lashed out at the media and said it was "truly outrageous" that the Chicago Tribune got a judge to unseal the records.

The Republican choice will become an instant underdog in the campaign for the seat of retiring Republican Senator Peter Fitzgerald, since Obama held a wide lead even before the scandal broke.

"I feel for him actually," Obama told a Chicago TV station. "What he’s gone through over the last three days I think is something you wouldn’t wish on anybody."

The Republican state committee must now choose a replacement for Ryan, who had won in the primaries against seven contenders. Its task is complicated by the fact that Obama holds a comfortable lead in the polls and is widely regarded as a rising Democratic star.

The chairwoman of the Illinois Republican Party, Judy Topinka, said at a news conference, after Ryan withdrew, that Republicans would probably take several weeks to settle on a new candidate.

"Obviously, this is a bad week for our party and our state," she said.

As recently as Thursday, spokesmen for the Ryan campaign still insisted that Ryan would remain in the race. Ryan had defended himself saying, "There’s no breaking of any laws. There’s no breaking of any marriage laws. There’s no breaking of the Ten Commandments anywhere."

Again...since when was “African” a race?? I’d like to see others of that period of 1961 show the same. If anything, it would have indicated “negro” back in ‘61.

There are white Africans—such as South Africa. Do they claim “African” as a race too?

i tend to agree with that. as far as I can tell, it depends on what your definition of ‘natural born citizen’ is.

if i was obama, i would’ve just wait a little bit longer to release this. because it’d make people concentrate on this issue instead of all his other issues that’s killing this country.

so the question i have is why didn’t he wait a little longer to release this, like a few months before the election to kill some of the birther movement (if it was a front running issue) and go on to win.

You are too cute by half. As you well know, the SCOTUS has never defined the term. It should, once and for all, letting the chips fall where they may.

However, as you also know, there is considerable contemporary documentation that the INTENT of the Framers was that whomever would hold the Office of President of the United States would be born without dual allegiance, as was Obama.

You’re welcome.

“Didnt they say, they didnt have it.”

Yep...their governor went on a tangent to show the world his birth certificate—then a few days later admitted they couldn’t find it! Must be some kind of miracle that they found it! LOL!!

http://supreme.justia.com/us/28/99/case.html#156Supreme Court Decision

Here is the relevant passage from this Supreme Court Decision from 1830:

Nothing is better settled at the common law than the doctrine that the children even of aliens born in a country while the parents are resident there under the protection of the government and owing a temporary allegiance thereto are subjects by birth.

With the track record of Present Stroker, how could anybody think otherwise?

Nothing about the guy is legitimate.

It is signed by a physician. Kook at it again and notice the box checked over the signatures.

Did ya bother to look at it? It is signed by David A. Something or another, MD. So go to Birther Plan B, and denounce it as a forgery.

Agree 100%!

“African” is not a race and would not have been so in 1961.

the definition of natural born citizen is/was common knowledge. only those attempting to skirt the issue claim it to be murky.

when they went after mccain for his eligibility requirements, there was no murkiness in the definition. and there still isn’t.
