Petraeus should be BLOCKED. It is time for his career to end. His comments attacking the Koran burning and endorsing Sharia primnciples, while at the same time saying NOTHING against those who murdered 22 people in Afghanistan over it, were despicable. This man understands nothing about what our Constitution or values represent. BLOCK HIM.

We are going to turn the Military to some Far Left, Obamabot, sycophant, Moonbat and put in charge of our CIA, another PC, Multiculturalist, who has been in the forefront and responsible for the insane "Nation Building" (with all its attendant ROE's which are responsible for untold numbers of needless American casualties) in A-Stan.

I can’t believe this story is not getting more attention. Why is Gates out? Why are they replacing him with Leon Panetta of all incompetent people? Oh, he had a clueless CIA so maybe he’ll be equally clueless with the DOD? Why put a US Army General in charge of a spy agency?
This reminds me of a story I read here yesterday or the day before. I did not recognize the news source and cannot even remember the name, but it mentioned that the Saudis were putting a halt to a big purchase of US military equipment and that they informed Gates of this the other day. Reportedly, the Saudis are extremely unhappy with the US’ lack of interest in the Iranian threat in the ME. I only saw the one story about this, and I looked to see if Drudge had anything about it but found nothing. By last night, I thought that the story must be untrue. Maybe it is. Maybe it isn’t.
Maybe the Agency will get more agents into the field again.
I sure would like to know what Panetta did in the US Army for 2 years (1964-66)! That’s the extent of his military experience.
Was he a judge advocate? If he was, then he should be barred from confirmation! As Def Sec, Panetta will focus on diversity, gay rights, the environment, women’s issues and everything under the sun except DEFENDING THE USA.
