I've used CFL everywhere over for years. I haven't broken any yet.

The incandescent is terribly inefficient. We shouldn't stop pushing forward on lamp technology.

I see all the complaints from folks over CFL or LED lamps and wonder if oil lamp users were the same way when the incandescent bulb came along.

You’ve got to be kidding. The electric light swept the world, especially the U.S., like wildfire.

I am affected by CFL bulbs. They make things look slightly pixellated. Yes, it’s weird. It also causes headaches if I am in their presence too long. These are not an option for me and some others. LED is much better.

No, they weren’t forced by the government to switch.

Actually, you can still get and use oil lamps, if you so choose. The key there is ‘choose’. FedGov has said “thou shalt not HAVE incandescent.” There is no ‘choice’ involved.

Yes, we should keep moving forward and we should preserve choice.
