Do you really heed someone to answer that question for you?

Rhetorical question ... obviously. We all know the answer already.

This is personal for baraq.
Don’t know why, but this latest attack on our state just fits the pattern.

BAE manufactured medium duty trucks for the US Army.
baraq pulled that business and redirected it to a union shop in Wisconsin that had never manufactured these trucks before.

baraq hamstrung NASA by turning it into a muslim outreach program. Recently, the JSC was denied one of the shuttles. As if they had nothing to do with the space program. The ripple effects of killing off NASA will be ugly for the economy of the area around there.

BP rig blows up and the kenyan shuts down the gulf through more difficult regulations. This hurt most of the gulf coast, but there are a lot of manufacturers here that got hit hard.

Now he is working to shut down exploration in West Texas with the excuse of saving some lizard.

I cannot remember a US president who made it a point to harm an individual state while rewarding those states that voted for him.

Looks like this was part of the democrat party’s plan.
Hey Texas democrats, your guy is doing this to us. and to you. how’s that hope and change now?

Here is a question: Since a President created the EPA (thru a presidential decree or something) can a Newly Elected President undo earlier presidential decrees?

Can a New President correct the damage done by earlier Presidents?

Since it was not done by the Congress or Senate, can it be undone by the stoke of a pen?

I always thought it could, but sadly it would take a president who does not care about being a one termer, or do so in the second term, because the world would crucify them.

Just takes balls, and the only one with balls that big is Palin, but I seriously doubt that even she would do that.

Remember what Obama said? “I would rather be a one term president and get a lot done then a two term president getting nothing done.

Well, he got his wish, he will be a one term president, and we are paying the price.

>>The states need to reassert their sovereign control over the land and resources within their state boundaries and tell the fed to pound sand.<<

That’s what I said!
Just like the water crisis in CA. Tell them to go blow and get the water in there.

For heaven’s sake. Bobby Jindal did.

"It’s past time to put the EPA on the Endangered Agencies List, defunding them until it becomes extinct."

BTTT!!! Just shut them down!

Michael Crichton, September 15, 2003 "Environmentalism as Religion"

"I have been asked to talk about what I consider the most important challenge facing mankind, and I have a fundamental answer. The greatest challenge facing mankind is the challenge of distinguishing reality from fantasy, truth from propaganda. Perceiving the truth has always been a challenge to mankind, but in the information age (or as I think of it, the disinformation age) it takes on a special urgency and importance. ......

"Today, one of the most powerful religions in the Western World is environmentalism. Environmentalism seems to be the religion of choice for urban atheists. Why do I say it's a religion? Well, just look at the beliefs. If you look carefully, you see that environmentalism is in fact a perfect 21st century remapping of traditional Judeo-Christian beliefs and myths. There's an initial Eden, a paradise, a state of grace and unity with nature, there's a fall from grace into a state of pollution as a result of eating from the tree of knowledge, and as a result of our actions there is a judgment day coming for us all. We are all energy sinners, doomed to die, unless we seek salvation, which is now called sustainability. Sustainability is salvation in the church of the environment.

" Just as organic food is its communion, that pesticide-free wafer that the right people with the right beliefs, imbibe. ...Environmentalism needs to be absolutely based in objective and verifiable science, it needs to be rational, and it needs to be flexible... How will we manage to get environmentalism out of the clutches of religion, and back to a scientific discipline? There's a simple answer: we must institute far more stringent requirements for what constitutes knowledge in the environmental realm.

"I am thoroughly sick of politicized so-called facts that simply aren't true. It isn't that these "facts" are exaggerations of an underlying truth. Nor is it that certain organizations are spinning their case to present it in the strongest way. Not at all---what more and more groups are doing is putting out is lies, pure and simple. Falsehoods that they know to be false...

"At this moment, the EPA is hopelessly politicized. In the wake of Carol Browner, it is probably better to shut it down and start over...." HERE

Am I the only one that finds it ironic that the President (Lyndon b Johnson) who signed probably the greatest modern day peice of legislation according to the black community (Civil Rights Act) is having his own great State (Texas)screwed by the first black Presidant (Obama) ever?

So much for thanks and appreciation.

He can't see beyond Bush. Bush came from Texas, so 0bama hates Texas too. Nevermind whatever else may have come out of our great state.

Yeah, it’s ironic but of course Johnson passed that legislation only because the majority of republicans voted for it while his own party voted in a majority against it. Johnson only passed the legislation to buy black votes and he stated as much to his advisors. Johnson was a dirtbag but he was upfront about his intentions.

Oh yeah? And what do you think you can do about it? Run in circles? Scream and shout? File a lawsuit?

Do you REALLY think that'll work?
