The attackers were viscious. They were outside the bathroom. The attackers were not in any danger. The attackers came back and continued the attack and were clearly overpowering the victim.

Absolutely not - which is why they're clearly guilty of first degree assault.
Again, an able-bodied 22 year old man getting beaten up by two teenage girls is kind of pathetic.
Even more pathetic would be charging the teenage girls with "attempted murder" because said adult male was bruised and scratched by them.
Add to that, the adult male in question works as a street prostitute and has definitely been roughed up worse on multiple occasions by johns. But he would never press charges against them - because they are paying customers.
