Jerry Seinfeld, the comedian, has cancelled a charity appearance in protest at the property mogul Donald Trump's campaign questioning President Barack Obama's citizenship.
Seinfeld pulled out of a September event to raise money for the St Jude Children's Research Hospital, hosted by the tycoon's son Eric, because, his spokesman said, "Jerry has grown increasingly uncomfortable" with the way Mr Trump is casting doubt on Mr Obama's birthplace and " feels this kind of demagoguery has no place in public discourse".
The move by Seinfeld is the first sign of a celebrity backlash against Mr Trump's improbable but high-profile flirtation with the Republican presidential nomination.
Mr Trump hit back in characteristic fashion in a letter obtained by the "New York Post" that lambasted Seinfeld for pulling out of the Eric Trump Foundation event.

Where do you keep yours? The Kitchen?
Good point though.
I have seen people eat in the bathroom *Brrrrr*
Kramer prepared an entire meal there.
The show was about a bunch of Narcissists. Never found it funny and never will.
His female cohort on the show Julia whatshername has even less than he does IMO.
“Cant stand Seinfeld...cant stand the whole cast...Its like jerks dealing with jerks.”
I tried watching once but couldn’t understand why people found it funny. That’s also true for Larry David’s show. No creativity or talent whatsoever.
You’re not even remotely a factor, so your analogy is pointless.
Seinfeld is bailing on St Judes in defense of an abortion advocate because defending the latter is clearly more important to him.
The show was pathetic. Still is.
You're shocked. Hell, even I knew that from that the get-go. You don't rise that high in the rarefied air of network television without being a liberal.
>> Did he really?? Hes worse than a jackass.
Yes, he did.
The scene took place at the home of a Christian family, in which after Larry left the bathroom, the mother and daughter, strolling by the bathroom, observed in disbelief what they perceived to be the picture of Christ crying. But what the two women really observed was Larry’s piss dripping down the face of Christ.
>> When the hell did that happen? I dont recall the show ever crossing that line.
See post #88.
is that what Trump is doing, or is he just asking to see the certificate?
At first I decided not to see movies with this type of wild eyed radical in them.
Then I decided I would forgive the actors because they were just actors, and hold the producers (Oliver Stone, Michael Moore, etc.) responsible.
Then I thought of the solution that works for me...I go to the window and buy a ticket for a movie made by someone I don't know or care about - then I walk into the movie starring the actor I have a problem with or the producer I have a problem with and imagine that it's just a movie.
I see the film and the producer doesn't get the money...I'm happy.
None of them leftist sonsabitches get my support.
Or, as I say in mixed company, “I prefer to do other things with my entertainment dollar”.
When I gave up TV/movies out of an inability to enjoy anything these people produced thanks to their political stupidity, I took up my life-long desire to play music. Now I actually enjoy creating rather than just sitting back and having someone’s agenda fed into my brain. Can be very rewarding, it occasionally frustrating.
Computers make it even easier, thanks to ‘band in a box type software’. Don’t even need anyone else...I can just play with...
Wait, that didn’t come out right ;)
Or maybe it was just about "manners" instead of "nothing."

Agreed.
Yes, they all engaged in countless one night stands. They were all sluts.
