Jerry Seinfeld, the comedian, has cancelled a charity appearance in protest at the property mogul Donald Trump's campaign questioning President Barack Obama's citizenship.
Seinfeld pulled out of a September event to raise money for the St Jude Children's Research Hospital, hosted by the tycoon's son Eric, because, his spokesman said, "Jerry has grown increasingly uncomfortable" with the way Mr Trump is casting doubt on Mr Obama's birthplace and " feels this kind of demagoguery has no place in public discourse".
The move by Seinfeld is the first sign of a celebrity backlash against Mr Trump's improbable but high-profile flirtation with the Republican presidential nomination.
Mr Trump hit back in characteristic fashion in a letter obtained by the "New York Post" that lambasted Seinfeld for pulling out of the Eric Trump Foundation event.

Both shows can be really funny, surprisingly so because they are often the funniest when they are the complete opposite of the Lib PC world Seinfeld and David live in.
I have to admit that I really do respect Seinfeld’s comedy. He grew up watching “routines” like Who’s On First and all the great comedians. His greatest wish was to make anything like them. He achieved that wish. You know, I don’t mind that Seinfeld is a liberal. Being in show business and being Jewish, one kind of presumes it. But I do mind the method he chose to display his displeasure with Donald Trump. Using a charity as his revenge? And not even one Trump himself was connected with. How sick is that?
Or maybe he just doest feel comfortable with Trump.

Seinfeld also was not very favorable to Christianity, even while he couldn’t bring himself to be OPENLY Jewish on the show either!! Coward. Once Elaine ripped the “Jesus fish” off her boyfriend’s car, and changed all his Christian stations on his radio.
Neither did I ever see an episode. I found it usual that several years ago Seinfeld broke up with his girl friend of five years. She’s a very busty girl named Shoshona Lowenstein. She was 19 when they parted ways after 5 years! Seinfeld is a child molester that was never confronted.
Well, if you didn’t notice, Elaine was pretty much a slut. Christian values were not really her thing.
