A three-inch lizard that thrives in desert conditions could shut down oil and gas operations in portions of Southeast New Mexico and in West Texas, including the state's top two oil producing counties.

If the lizard is in danger or endangered, just KILL THEM ALL. Then they will be extinct and no longer an issue. Drill, baby, drill.
It will only happen if the state allows it to. The states need to retake control of the resources within their boundaries and tell the feds that their control is over. The federal control over state resources has been unconstitutional from the beginning.
FUBO & FAD
Ridiculous! I can’t imagine the people of West Texas letting
a stupid thing like this take place. The darn lizard and the
drilling operations have existed side by side all these many
years without interference of the federal government...and
will continue to WITHOUT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT’S poking it’s
nose in our business. This administration would like nothing
better than to shut down oil production in order to pimp
their ideas of “toy” electric cars. Ain’t happening here, baby!
Thanks L. Ping to more Texans.
It is still an amazing chart - thanks
I hope astronaut “Liz” Lissom was given an honorable burial
I think the only time this country has ever gotten its sanity back is after the Civil War and the two World Wars. My father told me one time, in his opinion, when things get bad enough for our country, we will go to war to straighten things out. I’m beginning to think he was right.
You have pointed out the obvious.
They have coexisted for ages.
No doubt in my mind.
If THEY could GAIN something by ELIMINATING a lizard THEY would do that.
But this lizard (probably planted there) is not a gain.
We need studies to make sure this lizard has been there since day one. /s
Still interesting, thanks.
Well, it didn't work so well when they tried in in the Battlefield. This is much easier.
Matches are cheap, just like explosives on oil rigs. A few matches, a bomb on an oil rig or two and they will beg for Federal chains...
Hey, it works.
How else did Obummer know to switch his oil stance ten days before the explosion, then use the explosion to enable his daddy Soros to get his deep oil rigs?
Imagine Americans 50 years ago asking the Goobermint to fence them in and make them carry papers. All it took was a little selective un-enforcement and free uneployment money for illegals and we switched our tune.
Need to stop... being... sheeple... zzzzzz
One day, people are going to see moves like this for what they are and just give the government the finger while going on with their business.
Heck, at this rate I might just pack up my car and join y’all. That is, if West Texas doesn’t mind a damnyankee.
Yep....a lick of common sense wouldn’t be to much to ask, would it?
Oh, wait! This is theZero Gubermint we’re talking about!
Never mind!
Come on down! You’d. Be welcome here! Just think of yourself as an extreme northern Southron! :)
Besides...it’d be handy for going to the shoots now wouldn’t it!
Just sayin’.........
I get so sick of the hand wringing.
Thanks! I need a real Texas ping list! LOL!
Me too, MY!
Texans don’t go in for that prissy behavior! We just get a job done and let lizards and men find their own way...and, by golly, they always seem to without the government holding their hands every step of the way!
It’s....well....un-Texan!
