A three-inch lizard that thrives in desert conditions could shut down oil and gas operations in portions of Southeast New Mexico and in West Texas, including the state's top two oil producing counties.

Not only would the move impact oil and gas operations but agriculture, Shepperd noted, shutting down agricultural activities like grazing and farming -- "anything that disturbs the habitat."

If you thought that cotton and beef prices were high now...

"The wolf at the door is the lizard; we're concerned listing it would shut down drilling activity for a minimum of two years and as many as five years while the service determines what habitat is needed for the lizard. That means no drilling, no seismic surveys, no roads built, no electric lines."

So, no new transmission lines for wind energy projects.

And they will never listen to common sense. The only thing that will stop them is to STOP them.

I didn’t see this in the FR or anywhere else and had to look for it after I found it. Maybe just missed it on FR. This is what is going to have to be done to stop the insanity and protect OUR rights.

Westboro Baptist nut jobs stopped cold in Brandon, Mississippi.

These people need to be put in a loony bin for the rest of their lives.

"Jail" is more like it. But I would settle for the loony bin.

I'm getting the distinct impression these Commies are doubling down and ramrodding full speed ahead for what they see as their "end game". Things are simply moving too fast for it to be otherwise.

This will likely either end with them in jail or patriotic Americans rounded up sent to their new Gulags...

... God forgive me, but I never thought I would ever live see this day and say that in all seriousness...

0 has declared war on TX, LA, and possibly SC. This is just one affront among many. I’m sure Texas will prevail.
