A transgender woman beaten at a Baltimore County McDonald's spoke out on Saturday, saying that the attack was "definitely a hate crime" and that she's been afraid to go out in public ever since.
"They said, 'That's a dude, that's a dude and she's in the female bathroom,' " said Chrissy Lee Polis, 22, who said she stopped at the Rosedale restaurant to use the restroom. "They spit in my face."
A worker at the restaurant taped Monday's attack and created a graphic video that went viral last week. After the video garnered hundreds of thousands of views on websites, McDonald's issued a statement condemning the incident, and on Saturday the worker who taped the incident was fired.
The video shows two females — one of them a 14-year-old girl — repeatedly kicking and punching Polis in the head as an employee and a patron try to intervene. Others can be heard laughing, and men are seen standing idly by.
....Her twin brother, Matty Polis, who also lives in Baltimore, said it's been painful to watch her have to endure these sorts of attacks.
"My sister has gotten this her entire life," Matty Polis said. "Being the way she is, she's always had a hard time."
Polis, who was raised by her grandmother in Dundalk and Essex, graduated from Chesapeake High and hasn't had a job or stable place to stay for the past two years, according to her mother, Angela Thomas.
Polis, who is white, believes race may have also been a factor in her attack— both the assailants were black, according to the police report.
Equality Maryland has called on state Attorney General Douglas F. Gansler to step in and investigate the case as a hate crime.

Yup. And the thing is a bystander would likely not know the root cause of the confrontation. But it would be evident that someone is helpless on the ground and two savages keep coming back for more violence. As you said a MAN would intervene. Heck an old woman did! In fact hypothetically speaking what if the victim was a straight normal teenage white girl who ticked off the savages by flirting with their boyfriend or even cracking wise with them? Would we say the attempted murder was justified?
Yep! They have their own code of conduct which is based on twisted logic.

“called on” ? Had this been the reverse (two whites beating up a black) there would be no need to “call for” an investigation of at hate crime - it would be done automatically. There mere fact that two whites beat a black is enough in today’s society to make it a hate crime.

Perhaps a bit of basic biology may help clarify a few things under discussion on this thread.
1. The victim allegedly has had sex change operations, and probably is taking estrogen hormones. IF so, that will eventually result in feminine responses, and will also cause a change in the body fat/muscle ratio resulting in a de facto female.
2. Given the beating the victim received, a case can be made that any jail sentences would not he the victim’s. If I may borrow a quote from Judge Posner, “That is blaming the victim with a vengeance.”
3. In an interview, the victim said no lawsuit was planned. IMHO, that is clear and unambiguous evidence that the victim has sustained severe brain damage.
The “but. . .” is very instructive and reveals your true belief that he deserved it, and if you don't think that, then the only other option is you are attempting to mitigate the guilt of the animals, which is the same as saying he deserved it. Not a very moral position.
So. . .following your “thinking,” a flirtatious drunk woman in a bar is raped. . .she deserved it because you understand why the rapist acted the way he did. Are you sure you are muslim?
Everything you need to say to explain your position has been said and it is clear what you truly believe.
Thinking people will decide who is moral and correct on this subject.

Now, lets see what the scorecard says. It appears that two black girls in a “pack animal” rage pummel white girl senseless. So this should be a simple assault crime, right? And since it is black on white, it can’t be a hate crime right? ... But wait, turns out that the victim was actually a trans-gender (dude looks like a lady thing) so put up some points for the white girl/guy...I think, since this is assault on LBGT folks, right.
Now for the “sex” points. Since the thugs were also women, do they get “chick” points? And if they do, does the victim get the same points as well? Or are there deductions for really being a guy, at least sort of once upon at time? Is there a “time served” guy to girl ratio for trans-gender folks to factor in the hate crime scorecards? What do you have on your scorecard for the F’ed up hate crimes laws on this one?
Does this example help folks on the left see what a bunch of loons they are for supporting “hate crime” legislation? See how much easier it would be if you just arrested people for acting like savage monsters? I do. That’s OK, I’ll wait while the liberal brains try to process this madness.
