"I reminded them that Kuwait and Saudi Arabia reimbursed us after Operation Desert Storm," McCain says. "They said they'd be glad to discuss that." Although the rebels are low on cash now, Libya has significant oil wealth...

Turning our military into a gang of mercenaries...real smooth move, Juan.

"I'm sure that there may be some element there, but I guarantee you that they didn't rise up because they wanted to be al Qaeda fighters," McCain says.

"It's not because they're al Qaeda extremists, it's that their tired of being governed by an extremist who doesn’t hesitate to massacre them."

McCain became impatient when reminded of a 2007 report which found that Libya, and specifically Benghazi, had been a source of insurgents who traveled to Iraq to fight American forces there. "Look, that's not why the Libyans rose up," McCain emphasizes.

"I think the Democratic Party is a fine party, and I have
no problems with it, in their views and their philosophy."

U.S. SEN. JOHN MCCAIN, 02 APR. 2004

"I have to tell you, [Obama] is a decent person, a person that you
do not have to be scared [of] as president of the United States."

U.S. SEN. JOHN MCCAIN, 10 OCT. 2008

What is there left to say about this drooling fool that hasn't already been said. He needs to be led off stage and never heard from again.

It’s worth remembering that the US supported bin Laden and many of the Jihadists who are now fighting us in Afghan/Pakistan because those Jihadists were fighting the Soviet Union. Blowback happens. Gaddafi is bad, but is the opposition any better?

I don’t trust McCain. It’s more than just disagreeing with him. I just honestly am not sure who he supports, and what he stands for. It seems that just when enough people start questioning who he is and what side of the aisle he’s really on, he does just enough to make it seem as though he’s a conservative. As soon as the questions subside he does something else that makes you wonder.

McCain should go live in Kosovostan—the muslim terror parastate he helped set up. They love Cindy there too.

He is playing right into the left’s hand. Now it looks like McCain is much more intimately involved in this conflict, and can now be blamed for starting it or at least perpetuating it. Fool.

I've heard of people throwing prize fights and shaving points in basketball games but, prior to 08, I'd never heard of anybody throwing a presidential race. The guy only needed to mouth four simple words "I oppose the bailout" and he'd be president today and he isn't stupid enough not to know that. The real question is whether we're supposed to believe that Judas Iscariat was a "Maverick(TM)".

Other than that this thing in Libya is about George Soros wanting to control that $5T in wealth which Libya represents. Soros, Bork Obunga, and presumably also John the "Maverick(TM)" McCain are attempting to pull off what amounts to a bank robbery in broad daylight and using American military assets to do it.

Sort of like McRino saying "we're gonna build that dang fence."
